ANNOUNCES UPPER MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Lincoln, Nebraska, Monday, September 9, 2002 – Inverse Technology today announced the appointment of Daniel N. Griepentrog to Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Griepentrog will oversee all worldwide business activities of Inverse Technology and its proprietary Protonics® products. Mr. Frank E. Joutras will continue as President of Inverse Technology, as well as assuming the new position of Chief Science Officer, responsible for directing all research, development and patent functions for Inverse Technology. Their appointments were approved by Inverse TechnologyÂ’s Board of Directors on Friday, September 6th and are effective immediately.

Mr. Thomas E. Fraim, Inverse Technology’s Chairman of the Board, in announcing the management changes stated, “These appointments reflect a continuation of the transition of Inverse Technology’s primary focus from the successful development and clinical testing of our patented medical devices to one focusing on manufacturing, marketing and distributing these products through our worldwide distribution network.”

In June 2002, Inverse Technology announced the signing of an exclusive agreement for the worldwide marketing and selling of Protonics® with OrthoRehab, Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona with an extensive network of sales and service representatives in the U. S. and in 54 foreign countries.

Inverse Technology, headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a private healthcare company that develops, manufactures and markets Protonics® based medical rehabilitation devices. Many patients who experience chronic knee pain, back pain, hip bursitis, sciatica and similar postural problems, suffer from a postural instability and lack of symmetry of the pelvis. Since the pelvis is in a unique position to contribute to the position and function of numerous parts of the body, especially the spine and the femur, an imbalance or lack of symmetry in the position of the pelvis has undesirable consequences throughout the entire lumbo-pelvic-femoral chain.

Inverse Technology’s primary product, the Protonics Neuromuscular Repositioning System, is utilized to neuromuscularly develop and maintain pelvic symmetry and stability throughout the lumbo-pelvic-femoral chain by the activation and reeducation of the core stabilizing muscles in and around the pelvis and thigh. Protonics® is used by orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other clinicians in the prevention and treatment of chronic postural problems. Protonics® has received reimbursement approval from Medicare/Medicaid, Workman’s Compensation and over 400 private insurance companies and HMO’s.
