Unit Dose Solutions Signs Five Hospital Systems for Drug Repackaging
Unit Dose Solutions Inc., a growing provider of outsourced drug repackaging services, today announced its agreement with Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance (CCHA), which includes New Hanover (N. C.) Regional Medical Center and Southeastern Regional Medical Center, among 12 other hospitals. Unit Dose Solutions will provide individual dose drug repackaging of oral solid and liquid medications for members of the CCHA, a non-profit healthcare organization consisting of 14 member hospitals located throughout North and South Carolina. The contracts call for Unit Dose Solutions to repackage the majority of the hospitals' bulk drug inventory into individual doses, each sealed with a bar code and human readable label information.
