Wayne Sledge has been in the agricultural and consulting business for 40 years. Taking his knowledge and experience, Sledge founded www. GrowthSpurtSales. com, a website that specializes in supplements for organic gardeners.
"I took the products that I was most familiar with and one that had already had organic certification," began Sledge. "Everything is certified for use in organic farming.
"I am extremely interested in soil and plant nutrition, the way that biology interacts with plants and soil nutrients and how the whole system works in order to provide which is healthy and nutritious for people," continued Sledge. "Having said that, if you can increase the quality and nutrition in the food, you will then have healthier people. I'm interested in that that aspect of agriculture."
Sledge's website has been operating for over a year and he's planning on expanding his product line. "There are a number of products that I am aware of that are being used in organic agriculture," said Sledge. "I plan on adding those to my site now that my current products are certified for organic use. As more products become available, I hope to bring those to the website so they can be accessed by the average gardener."

"The things I'll be putting in the blog are the things that I find that most interesting and hopefully other people will, as well," explained Sledge. "It goes to the interaction between plants, plant nutrients, soil biology and how that whole thing interacts. I also have a place where people can go to find information about how plants and the nutrients related to human health."
