The website, in English and Spanish, highlights the innovative work of Pro Mujer in Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru.
"We hope the new website will provide up to date information about the network in a more accessible form," said Lynne R. Patterson, co-founder and director of Pro Mujer.
The new website provides an overview of Pro Mujer's history and services, including loans and access to savings accounts, business trainings, healthcare, and workshops on health, domestic violence, women's rights, and other topics. The website also features downloadable newsletters and a "Media Center," where visitors can access articles, press releases, information packets and videos about Pro Mujer and its clients.
Other features include profiles of Pro Mujer's microfinance institutions, client stories, information on upcoming events, and suggestions on how to get more involved with Pro Mujer.
In addition, a "Reports and Publications" section contains studies, annual reports and other publications highlighting the work of Pro Mujer, a glossary of microfinance terms, and a page with answers to frequently asked questions about microfinance and Pro Mujer.
