Emergency Visions and Yakabod form a strategic partnership today to provide customized consequence-management software and services for homeland security preparedness and other emergency response initiatives.

Under the agreement, Yakabod will be the primary development partner responsible for the next release of Emergency Visions' "ResponseVision" suite of consequence-management tools. In addition to managing the core development, Yakabod will be responsible for customization of the product to address the specific requirements of each customer and industry segment.

ResponseVision is a complete software solution based upon the Emergency Management and Incident Command System principles established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FEMA). The tools were designed by a consulting team of emergency management, public health, and industry professionals, including former FEMA managers, using an all-hazards approach.
