NHITC on Board for the Medical Records InstituteÂs Latest Conference
LeRoy Jones to speak at the Medical Records Institute's last conference of 2004, the EHR Summit IV.

 The Medical Records Institute (MRI) is pleased to announce the appointment of LeRoy Jones as one of the keynote speakers at the last MRI conference of the year, the EHR Summit IV. Jones, the Senior Technical Advisor from the Office of the National Health Information Technology Coordinator, will be presenting the topic, ÂPerspectives from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at 8:45 AM on Friday December 10th. This topic will be a discussion around national EHR perspectives and the future of EHRs.
LeRoy Jones is a health IT executive who has extensive practice distributing technological solutions spanning the health-industry spectrum with special attention to public health, acute care delivery, pharmaceuticals, managed care and general health informatics. As the Senior Technical Advisor to Dr. David Brailer, Jones is responsible for managing the strategic technical directions of the national healthcare agenda for the NHITC. Additionally, Jones is co-piloting the initiative to build a private sector union of health IT businesses to mold the nationÂs health IT foundation in order to enable universal interoperability.
