The heart of TherapyNotes is the electronic medical records notes system designed specifically for psychiatrists, psychologists, and other psychotherapists. It offers interactive templates for various note types including progress notes, intake notes, treatment plans and more. This greatly speeds up data entry and note writing. The notes were carefully designed by Debra Pliner, Ph. D. with corroboration from other psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. Significant research went into maximizing compliance with insurance, HIPAA, and industry standards.
TherapyNotes also offers a powerful "to do" list that directs clinicians to what needs to get done next such as: write notes following sessions, contact primary care physicians, update treatment plans and so forth.
For solo practitioners, the cost is only $59 per month. If additional user accounts are needed, the price is reduced to $50 per month. During the introductory promotion, the first month is free.
TherapyNotes was a combined effort by Dr. Debra Pliner, clinical psychologist, and Brad Pliner, web technology professional. Together, they created TherapyNotes to meet the unique needs of mental health practitioners.
