Camping For A Cause!
Nebraska environmental firm camps out in the heart of New Orleans to help with the clean up of hazardous materials in the city.
OMAHA, Neb. (PRWEB) October 7, 2005
Vacationing in New Orleans, Louisiana is the farthest thing from most travelers minds, but since hazardous material issues have started to take center stage in the devastated city, one Omaha, Nebraska firm has decided to pack up the mobile home and head directly into the chaos to help.
Dan Taylor, the nation’s leading expert in facility related environmental issues, is sending his firm, AMI Environmental, into the heart of New Orleans to begin cleaning up the numerous conservation problems the community is facing.
“People do not realize just how dangerous it is to have airborne mold, bacteria and contaminated water surrounding them at high levels” states Taylor. “I just want to help the city get back to a safe and healthy environment.” AMI Environmental will have workers stationed in the city for at least two months or until the job is finished. Each individual will be collecting samples and testing the materials for any environmental issues that need to be alleviated. Taylor recommends staying out of standing water, wearing a mask to cut down on inhaling any airborne bacteria and cleaning any wounds that come into contact with questionable materials.
Since the city is having a large housing shortage, Taylor has decided to take matters into his own hands and bring his traveling trailer with him. Taylor says, “having the camper will serve as an office and a bed so hopefully that will open up something for someone who really needs it.”
Dan is an excellent interview with unsurpassed knowledge for the field. To arrange an interview with Dan Taylor, call his assistant, Sarah McCool.
