The TWA Group today announced the appointment of Keith Lewis as Managing Director. Mr. Lewis will now be responsible for the development of the group’s activities within three main areas of Telehealth incorporating international call centres, E-Commerce, and Corporate Health Care with ‘Sickness & Absence Management’ programmes. He will also provide strategic marketing support to industries such as Pharmaceuticals. He is based in Sproxton, Leics, UK.
Until February 1999, Mr. Lewis was the Marketing Director for the Monitor Group of companies covering the Built & Macro Environments, Health & Safety, Occupational Hygiene & Health and Food Technology. Formerly, he was Sales & Marketing Director for Winton Environmental Management responsible the strategic planning and implementation of change towards a broad-based ‘one-stop shop’ consultancy for the built environment. His accomplishments included the introduction of a number of key brands within a traditionally conservative market.
After studying biochemistry, Mr. Lewis worked in pharmaceutical research for May & Baker and subsequently Rhone Poulence. This was followed by a move to medical sales, promoting to Hospitals, General Practitioners and Retail Pharmacies. He was promoted to varies sales management positions before moving to Fisons PharmaceuticalÂ’s marketing division. Before leaving Fisons in 1991, he controlled UK sales & marketing function specialising in respiratory issues.
Most recently, in his new role for TWA Group, Lewis was instrumental in bringing together the most powerful providers of health content within the UK & Europe, including Hewlett Packard Healthcare, The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, The College of Health and The Stationery Office (HMSO) to form Health Service Net (health-service. net). Chairman of this powerful consortium is Bill Archer, who is also President of TWA Group Ltd.
