The growing popularity of products that enhance “beauty from the inside out” will be recognized in the 1st Annual Natural Beauty Awards, presented at Inside Beauty. The awards, sponsored by Natural Health magazine, honor the best and most innovative beauty and personal care products that represent the fundamentals of benefit-driven beauty. INSIDE BEAUTY, a new trade event for the growing convergence of the beauty, health and wellness market, will take place September 27-29, 2005 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

“The Natural Beauty Awards will help consumers to find the best new beauty products to enhance their looks and their well-being,” says Valerie Latona, Beauty Director of Natural Health. “It will also honor brands that offer true benefits through natural and nurturing ingredients.”

Covering a wide range of categories including skin care, hair care, sun care, cosmetics, fragrances and more, the Natural Beauty Awards will recognize products that nourish, refresh and adorn through natural and botanical ingredients or though the addition of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.

The winners will be selected based on the inclusion of natural or nature-derived ingredients, support of scientific research and user-verified results, by a three-part judging panel comprised of readers, select members of the Natural Health Advisory Board and Natural Health editors.

The Natural Beauty Award winners will be announced at a special evening ceremony taking place Wednesday, September 28th at the Inside Beauty exposition and educational conference. In addition, winning products will be revealed in a special Natural Health editorial feature in the October 2005 issue.
