This year’s AOJF organized under the theme, “Empowering Africa: Health, Finance, Infrastructure, and Technology”, is a remarkable online environment connecting companies and organizations working in these sectors to a global talent pool. This state-of-the-art, web-based tool makes it easy for job seekers and employers to connect virtually from all over the world. In addition, AOJF 2010 will feature an interactive and live chat function the first day of the event, allowing employers and job seekers to communicate and network with each other.
Until the Fair concludes on December 2nd, all the information will be available on demand for jobseekers that will be able to navigate the exhibitor showroom, learn about employers, as well as view and apply for available positions.
This year’s AOJF follows the first fair, which was a success, with more than 1,300 active job seekers logging into the online job fair campus on the day of the launch to connect with more than 100 representatives from the 18 exhibiting companies. Following the launch, more than 9,500 job seekers from around the world registered to access the job fair online campus.
