A. M. Best Re-affirms Delta Dental of Minnesota's 'A' Rating For Eleventh Consecutive Year
Delta Dental of Minnesota announced today that A. M. Best Company, the insurance ratings organization, re-affirmed its financial strength rating of A (Excellent) for the eleventh consecutive year.

Delta Dental of Minnesota (http://www. deltadentalmn. org) announced today that A. M. Best Company, the insurance ratings organization, re-affirmed its financial strength rating of A (Excellent) for the eleventh consecutive year. This is among the highest ratings of any dental plan in the nation.

"We are pleased to receive A. M. Best's strong, independent affirmation of our financial stability."
In its rating rationale, A. M. Best states:
"Delta Dental of Minnesota's dominant share of the Minnesota dental insurance market results from high business retention and new sales achieved via competitive pricing, a wide array of products, strong brand recognition, and a reputation for superior customer service."
"Consistent net income in recent years has resulted primarily from favorable underwriting results."
"Partnerships with other carriers and Delta Dental plans enable it to supplement its core Minnesota-based revenue with additional administrative services revenue."
"The analysis from A. M. Best is consistent with what we hear from our customers - that Delta Dental of Minnesota continues to provide superior customer service and competitive products," continued Morse.
