What do you get when you mix a personal trainer with sophisticated Internet skills? You get Lisa Lynn, a multi-talented ISSA certified personal trainer who took her personal training business worldwide. Lisa not only works with clients in a gym, like most personal trainers, but she also trains clients by way of her thriving fitness business on the Internet.

You may have even seen her on the Martha Stewart Living TV show where she has been a featured guest numerous times. "Martha is a wonderful woman who has helped my career tremendously. Although the majority of my clients certainly aren't in the same high profile category as Martha; they are typically new moms who just want to get back into shape after having a baby," she said.

"Most of my clients come to me," Lisa said. "My clients love working on the Internet because I show them how to work out from home, cook good meals, and send me their results, all while the baby is sleeping!" she said.

"My Internet clients tell me the truth since they don't see me face to face, so they actually get better results than the clients that come to my office," she said. "Since they email me their food journals and workout details, I am able to cut right to the chase and help them improve their diets. Also, they are more consistent with their workouts when they do not have to leave the house, and they receive fantastic support because they can email me at anytime of day."

Lisa has been seen on the Martha Stewart show 52 times, helping everyone who tunes in how to eat better, exercise safely, and live a healthier lifestyle. When asked how she found Martha, she said, "Martha approached me in the health club one day and told me how positive and confident I appeared when helping my clients. She then asked me if I would train her and, of course, I said yes. Then one thing led to another and she asked me to appear on her show. I never thought I'd be on TV as a personal trainer, talk about a dream come true!"

When Lisa is not working with clients on the Internet, she is working in her home gym where she trains about 40 hours a week. "Being an ISSA certified fitness trainer affords me a wonderful lifestyle, as most of my income comes from the Internet where I stay in constant communication with my clients and charge a nominal consulting fee, as well as make available an effective line of health and fitness products to my customers," she said.

"All that aside, the single best point about being a personal trainer is being able to set my own schedule. This lets my husband and I raise our wonderful son and daughter," she said. "And nothing is more important to me than my family."
