The recent toy recalls, including the popular Hanna Montana line of toys and cosmetics marketed for children, have been shown to contain high degrees of lead, which studies have shown to affect brain development, which can lead to Autism.
Other environmental factors - from drinking water to plastic toys to playground material - are under scrutiny for containing material that can be harmful to kids.
