MedeCus, a new health insurance business serving the Jamaican market, will use a Plexis end-to-end solution for its health plan administration and claims adjudication, as well as its web-based reporting needs. MedeCus was formed in 2004 as a joint venture between Grace Kennedy and Company Ltd and Guardian Life Ltd, two innovative Caribbean groups. Working with skilled industry professionals, MedeCus will begin with new plans for employer groups, and expand to serve other segments of the Jamaican population.
