"The Hospital Quinolone Tracking Study (USA) 2003", available now at MarketResearch. com, is a syndicated hospital study conducted monthly (excluding July and August) since June 1992, examining the formulary, stocking & restriction status of selected quinolones in U. S. short-term general medical/surgical hospitals.
The study consists of a series of data tables which present a number of elements such as hospital demographics, formulary information on antibiotics and the current formulary policy, and the stocking and restriction status of selected quinolones. Additional information such as "Preferred Quinolone" Status, P&T Committee actions and if applicable, the name of the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) (reported only in March and September) are also available.
Each study month, approximately 300 Pharmacy Directors from U. S. short-term general medical/surgical hospitals report via mail surveys. Data is projected to the universe of over 5,000 U. S. short-term general medical/surgical hospitals. This study offers the user insight into hospital formulary information regarding selected quinolones that are broken out by form - oral versus IV.
The monthly results are presented approximately three weeks after the end of the study month (this study is not conducted in July and August). Users may purchase 1 month, or the full audit. The full audit will be mailed each month (except for July and August), as new reports become available.
