Mr. Pilato brings nearly 20 years of experience working with multiple public relations, advertising and medical education companies to LaVoie Group. His extensive background includes work in public affairs, global communications, branding strategy, marketing, and planning for leading healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and medical device clients. He has experience working with a variety of companies such as AstraZeneca, sanofi-aventis, ConvaTec, Amersham Health, Sanofi-Pasteur, Becton, Dickinson & Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Novartis, and healthcare nonprofits such as the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Lung Association. Mr. Pilato also has significant experience directing communications initiatives and public affairs in government, having worked for three different Members of Congress.

At LaVoie Group, Carey will operate within a multinational commercialization team engaged in the launch of a potentially market-changing therapeutic within the rare disease space. On this team, Carey will lead public relations, corporate communications, and be integral to program management as this product moves towards launch. Working out of midtown Manhattan, Mr. Pilato will be uniquely positioned to provide senior level strategic counsel and implementation to LaVoie Group's New York-based key clients.
