Dynamic Healthcare Systems, a provider of innovative solutions for Medicare-focused health MSO's and plans, today announced that the Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) has purchased Dynamic's complete Voyager product suite to automate and streamline back office operations while ensuring compliance with guidelines issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The Voyager product suite provides IEHP with comprehensive Medicare Advantage management capabilities, from automated enrollment, and revenue reconciliation to risk adjustment analytics.
The move to 100% compensation using the HCC model and the start of the budget neutrality factor phase out, place significant pressure on Medicare Advantage plans like IEHP to increase and maintain the highest possible risk scores. The Dynamic Healthcare Systems' Voyager product suite of Revenue Reconciliation, HCC Analysis and RAPS Management modules automate and streamline the internal processes of the health plan or managed care organization. It also provides companies the ability to deliver process improvement and new analysis in an increasingly time critical manner to maximize revenue and limit cost.
Voyager's HCC Analytics module applies proprietary algorithms to qualified encounter data and unqualified secondary sources like, lab results, DME, and prescription encounters, to uncover suspected gaps in ICD-9 code reporting. Plans and MSOs use Dynamic's work queues, detailed patient profiles and sophisticated report libraries to verify the suspects in medical records, document the actual outcomes and submit them to CMS.
"Dynamic was created specifically to provide software and services to Medicare Advantage Plans, MSOs and physician groups as well as Special Need Plans, Stand Alone Part D providers, PACE and demonstration plans," said Ken Stockman, Dynamic's founder and CEO. "Our goal is to offer companies like IEHP comprehensive business solutions that can improve on back-office operations, better manage costs and increase profitability as they and their customers comply with CMS rules and regulations."
