KIWI Magazine Celebrates Amazing Kids
KIWI Magazine has launched its "My Kid, My Hero" Contest, giving parents the opportunity to nominate their children as heroes and win great prizes.
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 31, 2008
KIWI Magazine has partnered with Hero Nutritionals to launch, effective immediately, the "My Kid, My Hero" Contest, sponsored by May Media Group, LLC.
Parents are invited to nominate their children as their "heroes" by submitting true stories of their children's acts of kindness and receive the chance to win some great prizes. Entry into the contest requires submission of an original, 400-word essay describing the child and why he/she is being nominated as a hero. "Hero" is defined, for the purposes of the contest, as a child who has performed good deeds during the last year to help others and/or the community. Parents may nominate more than one child, with one submission allowed per child.
Submissions will be judged by representatives of KIWI and Hero Nutritionals--the manufacturers of Yummi Bears children's vitamins--on the positive nature of the good deeds, impact of the actions, inspirational value, and statement credibility.
Prizes for the three nominees with the highest scores include savings bonds up to $500, one-year subscriptions to KIWI Magazine, and supplies of Yummi Bears.
The "My Kid, My Hero" Contest officially ends December 31, 2008. Entry forms are available online at www. kiwimagonline. com/contests/Hero/ (http://www. kiwimagonline. com/contests/Hero/). To enter, parents must be 18 years of age or older and be legal residents of the U. S., and must follow the official rules and agree to the terms and conditions.
