2,000 Minority Medical Students to Converge on Atlanta’s West End Mall

To be held during the nation’s largest annual gathering of minority medical students

As part of the activates scheduled by the Student National Medical Association’s (SNMA) during their 41st Annual Medical Education Conference entitled, “Changing Our State-of-Mind: Empowerment through Business, Education, Literacy, Prevention, and P. SNMA will host a Health Fair on Saturday, April 15, 2006, entitled “Healthy People 2010 Health Fair,” at The Mall West End in Atlanta, Georgia, from 2 p. m. to 6 p. m. Participants include the West End Medical Centers, Inc. and nearly 100 exhibitors and vendors from educational institutions, community and service organizations and businesses. The community members from Atlanta and the surrounding areas are invited to participate. As a focus of the weekend, Conference attendees will be educated on healthy lifestyles in addition to available testing for illnesses such as hypertension. All tests are free-of-charge. Every member of the family will benefit from this educational event.
