Arizona's Hottest Day: My Baby Expo - That's Hot!
Summer is around the corner and Arizona is getting hot once again. Hot because soon many pregnant women along with their families will be at the hottest spot in Arizona, My Baby Expo! The expo will take place on June 4, 2005 from 10:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. at the Arizona State Coliseum. Admission is free and will be indoors fully air-conditioned. My Baby Expo will feature over 100 booths and exhibits, family entertainment, one-stop shopping for the latest and greatest products and services and important information for parents and infants of all ages.

My Baby Expo is an event for the entire family to enjoy. There will be many interactive attractions which includes Playground for Health where children can play, meet & greet famous hero characters and princess, rock climb, receive children safety Ids by Disney Radio, visit with The Phoenix ZooÂs animals and participate in jump rope activity. Mothers and infants can participate in the Baby Jaime Sprint For Health baby races presented by Phoenix Health Plan.
Another attraction is the All About Mom, Resort. Here mothers can visit and pamper themselves with a massage provided by The Arizona Therapeutic School of Massage, enjoy a make up consultations, purchase great jewelry finds, select new aroma candles and find great information.
Physicians and hospitals will be on site to share with women ways to live a healthy life and prepare for pregnancy. At My Baby Expo, you will receive a guide that will help you select your ObGyn and hospital by identifying the key questions you should be concerned about and need to ask the doctor and facility. The guide will also provide you with important steps you need to take before you deliver your baby at the hospital.
Of course, daddy's will have the opportunity to be reigned the 2005 Daddy Diaper king! Mega Radio will be hosting the ever popular contest that drives dads to their highest levels of competition. Additionally dads will be able to enter into the Hometown Buffet pie eating contest.
There will be cooking demonstrations that will feature key ingredients for nutrition. Demonstrations of portion size and caloric intake for pregnant women to stay on track will be at the expo to help women achieve recommended weight gain during pregnancy of 25 to 35 pounds for the average woman. Vegetables will be featured in fun ways for children to enjoy.
Many additional services will be provided such as free pregnancy testing, lactation consultation, doulas, car seat demonstrations, financial planning and health screenings. My Baby Expo is the one stop for pregnant mommies and families with infants.
