Dr. Angela Baylis, Doctor of Chiropractic and Head of Iatria Health Center, has been recognized as an outstanding leader in the community with the WomenÂs Forum of North CarolinaÂs 2004 Young Adult Leadership Award (YALA). The YALA Award honors young North Carolinians, female or male, between the ages of 18 and 35, who have demonstrated leadership in improving the lives of North Carolinians, especially female. The areas of leadership considered for this award include the fields of community service, the arts, science, physical fitness, health care, family, education, business, and the public arena. Dr. Baylis was presented with the award during the WomenÂs Forum of North Carolina General Membership Meeting and Young Adult Leadership Awards Luncheon on Saturday, November 20, at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro.

The Young Adult Leadership Award (YALA) will honor a young North Carolinian, female or male, between the ages of 18 and 35, who has demonstrated leadership in improving the lives of North Carolinians, especially female. The areas of leadership considered for this award include the fields of community service, the arts, science, physical fitness, health care, family, education, business, and the public arena. Both the winner and finalists become Associate Members of the Women's Forum for one year and are encouraged to participate in the Forum's bi-monthly meetings, mentoring program and other activities. About Dr. Angela Baylis:
Dr. Angela Baylis, Doctor of Chiropractic and Head of Iatria Health Center, specializes in applied kinesiology, the term most commonly used to identify a system of muscle testing and therapy.
