Headed by Jeff Berlind and Alan Plassche, BP Partners provides strategy consulting services to the foodservice industry.
One of the true thought-leaders in the foodservice arena, Alan Plassche is well known across the industry after having held executive positions with leading companies across the supply chain. His career highlights include his tenure as President, General Foods USA; Chief Operating Officer, Canteen Services; CEO, Comsource Distribution; and CEO of UniPro Distribution, the largest foodservice distribution cooperative.
From an industry perspective, Alan has served as Chairman of the Board for the Culinary Institute of America, Vice Chairman of the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA), and Chairman of the National Coffee Association. He has received numerous awards recognizing his contributions to foodservice, including the “Industry Leader of the Year” award from the Michigan State University School of Hospitality Business and the “Trailblazer of the Year” award given by ID Magazine.
Jeff Berlind brings more than 30 years of experience in foodservice and is also a well-known figure across the industry. Jeff has held key positions in business including Senior Vice President of Publishing for Cahners Business Information, Foodservice Division and Senior Vice President of Publishing for Bill Communications.
Jeff has served on the boards of Service America Corporation, the Culinary Institute of America, Second Harvest, and the James Beard Foundation. He was the recipient of the 1998 Trailblazer Award, presented and sponsored by National Restaurant AssociationÂ’s Educational Foundation.
