How to Have it All

How to Have it All

Women in the workforce turn to coaching and online community “SassyandSavvyWomen. com” to help them achieve balance between career success and personal priorities.

Vancouver (PRWEB) March 22, 2006

“Be careful what you wish for…” seems to have become the mantra for today’s professional working women. More than ever before, women are achieving success in the workforce and climbing to greater heights of professional accomplishment. This success, however, comes at a cost. The price they are paying is loss of balance and time with their family and other personal priorities due to the crossover time conflicts.

Today’s women are seeking career alternatives and many are deciding to go into business for themselves. The number of women starting their own business has literally exploded in North America. In Canada alone the number has tripled in the past two decades to 821,000 and in the US from a mere 1.5 million in 1972 to 9.1 million in 1999. With this tremendous growth and opportunity women are now facing new challenges with balancing their lives and building their businesses. Today, two women are launching an online community SassyandSavvyWomen. com aimed to help female entrepreneurs create successful businesses without sacrificing their personal or family priorities. .

Sassy and Savvy Women is a coaching company born out of the collaboration of two women from different countries with a common goal - to help women rapidly accelerate their personal and professional success.

“Leverage Your Business. Love Your Life” is the motto that Teresia LaRocque and Sonia Stringer are impressing upon their multitude of entrepreneurial clientele. LaRocque, from Vancouver, British Columbia and Stringer from San Diego, California are using today’s technology to connect self-employed women from around the world to help them achieve success in both their business and personal lives. .

“We have found, through many years of coaching self-employed women, that most of them feel alone and don’t know how to cope with the growing demands from their family and their professions,” says Stringer. “They have very busy lives and need help fast! This motivated us to launch our website community so that these women can easily connect with others who are going through the same lessons and dealing with the same challenges. It’s so great to discover that it’s not because you’re incompetent, a bad mother or wife, that you feel you cannot make everyone happy and get everything you need to done! We are going to provide women with an easy way to get the encouragement and support they need from each other, as well as coaching from Teresia and me”.

“We will be helping women create solid career success without sacrificing personal priorities such as their children, marriages or health,” agrees LaRocque. “We came up with this idea simply because both Sonia and I had experienced the exact same issues as the women we were coaching. We have gone through the struggles and learning curve of creating a successful business, and are excited to share what we have learned with other women to help them develop both a great business and a balanced, fulfilling lifestyle”.

Teresia LaRocque is a professional speaker and a pioneer in the now booming profession of personal and business coaching. Teresia is the first recipient of the International Coach Federation's Master Coach Credential in Canada and was just recently nominated as a finalist for the first annual Canadian Coach of the Year award.

Sonia Stringer is a business coach, speaker and author who has created a loyal following in several different business communities. Sonia has conducted training and coaching for Fortune 500 companies, as well as hundreds of entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Both women met in the early 90's while working with Anthony Robbins in Vancouver, Canada. A friendship was sparked that has spanned the last decade. As business colleagues, friends, and each other’s "biggest fans", they have supported one another through many personal challenges, life-changing business lessons, and ultimate success. They have also shared a special vision that somehow, someday they would share the best of their insight and hard-earned experience to empower other women to live great lives. Through the creation of Sassy and Savvy Women these ladies have enabled that vision to come true.

So just what is it that makes Sassy and Savvy Women such a valuable tool for women today? Coaching is a professional partnership between a qualified coach and an individual that supports the achievement of extraordinary results, based on goals set by the individual.

Examples of the type of women that benefit greatly from the coaching offered by Sassy and

Savvy are Anne Dugan who is an opera singer, married with a 2 ½ year old child, and who is an Executive National Vice President with Arbonne International. To say that this woman is busy would be a huge understatement. “I’ve been working steadily with Sonia since the end of April

2005. I began working with Sonia shortly after taking a one day workshop with her. I have now learned how to design my business around my life and am much more present to what’s important. Before, when I was with my family, I was still thinking about business. I remember pushing my kids on the swings and being on the cell phone talking to clients, so I wasn’t really “there” even when we had time together. Now when I step into my personal life, I am present 100%. I take my business hat off and fully enjoy the time I am taking each week for myself and my family.” With this coaching, positive business results have come dramatically: “Within six months of deciding to “do things differently” the gross sales in my business grew 300% and my personal income increased over 100%,” says Dugan. “The additional income has been great, but I am even more excited and inspired about the quality of life I now have for myself and my family”.

Another illustration is Kim Lysik Di Santi, a professional coach herself who has worked with Teresia LaRocque for three years. Kim is in her early 40’s, married, and the mother of a 10-month-old baby boy. “I was working with Teresia when I became pregnant,” explains Kim. “With her help I was able to reduce my client list to have my baby, take two months off after the birth of my son, and yet I came back to more clients than I thought I could acquire over many years. Teresia gave me exactly what I needed. I am a practical person and am thrilled to report that, with Teresia's help, my coaching practice increased by 300% in the time that we worked together, into a stronger-than six-figure practice”

By joining this virtual community, self employed women are able to plug into many different levels of support. They have the opportunity to be coached by two of the most successful coaches in North America, as well as develop powerful relationships with other business women working on similar goals. They are immersed in a supportive environment where they learn cutting-edge strategies to develop their business and achieve their personal and family goals.

There is also a hi-tech side to this community, which includes numerous electronic resources (audios, e-books and other tools) which women can access 24/7 365 days a year. Included here are practical “how to” worksheets, audio programs and interviews featuring successful female entrepreneurs who share their hard-won experience and wisdom with all members of the community.

By immersing their clients in a stimulating and supportive environment that will guarantee growth and create great changes, Sassy and Savvy Women are coaching today’s self-employed women toward the goal of having it all.
