Web Marketing Association Announces Winners of the 2004 Internet Advertising Competition Awards
The Web Marketing Association today announced the winner of its second annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards. GermanyÂs BBDO InterOne GmbH Win Best of Show.

The Web Marketing Association today announced the winner of its second annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards, a effort to honor excellence in online advertising and to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible for the best in Internet marketing. The IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising award competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising. The Competition web site is located at www. advertisingcompetition. org

Best of Show winner was GermanyÂs BBDO InterOne GmbH for their entry ÂThe new BMW 6 Series Convertible. Inspiration. Dynamics. EleganceÂ. at www. bmw. com/6seriesconvertible (http://www. bmw. com/6seriesconvertible) which also won Best Automobile/Transportation Interactive application Award. The entry created for the launch of the BMW 6 Series Convertible is divided into sections based on three themes: inspiration, dynamics and elegance. The underlying character of the entire website is Mediterranean and emphasizes the car's sporting style - this approach parallels the description of the BMW 6 Series in the product catalogues. The core product highlights are also showcased. Parallel to the three main themes, the website also contains a section which supplies an overview of all the car's features and technology.
Other IAC Award winners who received multiple awards included Ant Farm Interactive, PALM Publicité Marketing each winning three IAC Awards and BBDO InterOne GmbH, Home and Garden Television, IconNicholson, Organic, Inc., THINK Interactive Inc. and Verizon Online each receiving two IAC Awards.
