That was the experience I got from the recent 'U2 3D' movie, and that's what we felt we could bring to Sammy's performance.

"During production, we were amazed by the number of fervently loyal fans that travel to remote Cabo San Lucas year after year to live the 'Cabo Wabo experience.' We filmed four shows, and every performance was like walking into the middle of a giant New Year's Eve bash. The Cabo Wabo Cantina isn't a large space, so that presented some issues from a production standpoint. We had to take a very commando approach for shooting in the midst of a very enthusiastic crowd."

Away from the applauding crowds, Hagar has expanded his rocker persona into that of a successful entrepreneur, which began with the opening of the original Baja Cabo Wabo Cantina followed by locations in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and recently in Fresno, California. According to the network TV new program 60 Minutes, the use of Trasylol may be linked to over 20,000 U. S. deaths. Food and Drug Administration, the drug would could have been recalled." According to news accounts, the drug maker Bayer knew of issues with Trasylol as far back as 2002, yet they continued to allow the drug to be used in heart related surgical procedures. According to Americas Watchdog, "If true, this is an outrage that may have cost thousands and thousands of Americans their lives."

Americas Watchdog thinks that possible victims or loved ones of the Bayer drug called Trasylol need to know the truth. According to the group, "We will do our best to help every victim or family member of a victim discover what actually happened, and our group will also help the victim or the victims family get a legal assessment as to what their legal rights may be." Here is what Americas Watchdog has discovered so far about Trasylol:
Trasylol was given to patients undergoing heart procedures. At one point Trasylol may have been given to as many as 1/3rd of all US patients undergoing a surgical heart procedure. Traslol has been linked to kidney failure and other severe side affects. One dose of Trasylol may have cost $1000 or more, even though there were generic drugs available at less than $10 per dose with no reported side affects. According to Americas Watchdog, there is no way that physicians or hospitals could not have known about these risks in 2006, or 2007.

Terry has a distinguished career in EH&S (Enviromental Health and Saftey)and regulatory affairs for Purdue University's “Clean Manufacturing Technology and Safe Materials Institute,” the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, and for independent manufacturers.

Terry earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health at Purdue University, and BS in Biology Education at Ball State University. He has also worked as an ISO 14000 consultant and auditor. The ISO “International Standards Organization” 14000 designation is the “environmental management standard” which is used to help organizations minimize their environmental impact and to continuously improve environmental performance.

Terry will be working out of Indianapolis until FGE opens our Midwest HQ and manufacturing facilities in DeKalb Co., Indiana in 2006.

ForeverGreen Enterprises, Inc., manufactures Green Hydrogen [TM] using feedstock materials that would otherwise be regarded as wastes. Hydrogen is a critical process component used by a number of industries such as gasoline refining, steel making, metal fabrication, fertilizer manufacturing, edible oil processing, and chemical manufacturing. FGE's Hydrogen will also be made available to a wide variety of stationary, portable, mobile, and vehicular fuel cell applications.

FGE's feed stocks include household hazardous waste (HHW) and manufacturing materials like paint & paint shop wastes, inks & printing wastes. These are materials that are not easily disposed of, or fully recycled or reused in any other “green” industrial process. The company expects to initially remove more than 70,000 tons of wastes and pollutants out of the environment annually.

What are the most frustrating years of being a parent? An overwhelming consensus of parents believe it is when children are two, and then around fourteen. According to learning expert, Dr. Brian E. Walsh, neuroscience now gives solid validation that something striking is happening during these times. It all comes down to brain-wiring.

Virtually overnight, around age two, the first significant change appears when a child recognizes that he or she is an individual with a separate identity. At this point, children begin to assert their individuality with the common “me, my, mine” statements. This indicates the early stages of the formation of the conscious mind, and burgeoning neural network.

Taking about five years to fully form, the conscious mind is learning to protect the highly suggestible subconscious mind. Until this critical survival faculty is firmly in place, everything seen, heard, and witnessed has unfettered access to the subconscious. Harmless statements to a child such as “You're so messy” or “Why can’t you be more like your sister?” are in reality, potentially damaging suggestions that are conveyed directly to the child's subconscious mind. Experience indicates that most issues adults present in therapy sessions are related to the core belief patterns established before the age of seven.

The next significant metamorphosis takes place around age fourteen. The teenage brain begins the second transformation in wiring, which accounts for typical adolescent impulsiveness, defiance, lack of organizational skills, and narcissism. At this stage, the brain lacks the neural wiring to effectively moderate behavior and emotional responses. Frequently sparking turmoil, the teenage brain is preparing that individual for autonomy by testing limits, building skills, and encouraging individual initiative.

A parent’s most important role during this stage is to provide children with a secure, loving environment while allowing events to unfold. Rather than reacting, parents need to recognize that these events and struggles are preparing children for life in the real world.

“Cherish the journey of parenthood;” says Walsh, “it’s the most responsible job on the planet.” He offers helpful tips for parents in expressing unconditional love and acceptance to their child:

High School Students Change Attitudes About Risky Driving Through Project Ignition: Schools Recognized and Program Expanded

Car crashes are the number-one killer of teens in the U. S., but across the country, high school students are creating media campaigns to change attitudes and save lives. Campaigns have addressed a wide range of driver safety issues, including drinking and driving, seatbelt use, speeding, and driver distractions — with measured impact. These young people are part of Project Ignition, State Farm® and the National Youth Leadership Council™’s service-learning initiative to support high school students as they promote safe driving among their peers. On Friday, March 18, in Long Beach, Calif., one of these campaigns will be named “Best in Show,” earning a substantial grant for its school.

How does Project Ignition work? High school students propose service-learning projects (projects that combine service to the community with learning objectives) using the media of their choice — from TV, film, radio, and the Internet to performance art and community events. Twenty-five projects are selected and funded with $2,000 grants from State Farm. Once the campaigns are completed, 10 finalists are selected to present their projects at the National Service-Learning Conference, where one is chosen “Best in Show,” earning its school a $10,000 grant.

As the first-yearÂ’s finalists prepare for the 2005 conference, March 16-19, in Long Beach, Calif., State Farm and NYLC are accepting submissions for a second round of projects to be launched at the start of the 2005-06 school year.
