Another Bogus Psychiatric “Disorder” Unleashed on Society

Another Bogus Psychiatric “Disorder” Unleashed on Society

The invention of “Intermittent Explosive Disorder” is simply another ploy to include yet another bogus disorder in the psychiatric billing bible.

(PRWEB) July 8, 2006

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a psychiatric watchdog group, says that a recent psychiatric study which claims people who express “rage on the road” aren’t responsible for their actions but are suffering from some sort of nebulous mental disorder, is just another psychiatric myth. .

The group claims that the invention of “Intermittent Explosive Disorder” is simply another ploy to include yet another bogus disorder in the psychiatric billing bible, The Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental disorders and an attempt to get more unearned millions from insurance companies and medical health plans.

For over a decade CCHR has called on governments to eliminate the DSM as a valid diagnostic manual for insurance reimbursement, medical plan payments or for the basis of any legislation or court testimony. “It is an unreliable, pseudo-scientific document with enormous power to damage lives, while being used to rake in $76 billion a year in international psychiatric drug sales,” Said Brian Beaumont, the president of the Vancouver Chapter of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights.

Scores of new disorders are literally voted in with each new edition of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostics and Statistical Manual. One of this manual's main uses is billing insurance companies an bilking medical health plans. If the syndrome is in the book, the label can be applied to a person, drugs administered, and the insurance company billed.

Many people have been made to believe that invented psychiatric “disorders” as are actual medical conditions based on chemical imbalances in the blood or brain. However, there is no scientific evidence to support this. Psychiatric studies simply find percentages of people who behave in certain ways. Then labels are given to the behaviors and they're classified as diseases or mental disorders.

Beaumont said “ The current manual contains some 370 made - up “mental disorders”, including such things as Sibling Rivalry Disorder, Mathematics Disorder, Caffeine Related Disorder, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder the latest term for PMS, Attention Deficit Disorder and Expressive Writing Disorder to name a few. There are enough disorders to label and drug every man woman and child on earth”.

A recent study by Lisa Cosgrove, a psychologist from the University of Massachusetts and Sheldon Krimsky, a Tuft University professor, documents how pharmaceutical companies who manufacture drugs for “mental disorders” funded psychiatrists who defined the disorders for the manual. One hundred percent of the “experts” on DSM-IV panels overseeing so-called “mood disorders” (which includes “depression”) and “schizophrenia/psychotic disorders” were financially involved with drug companies. These are the largest categories of psychiatric drugs in the world: 2004 sales of $20.3 billion for antidepressants and $14.4 billion for antipsychotic drugs alone.

These labels are also used in the legal arena. A psychiatric label can be used to deny you custody of your children, overrule your wishes in business or property dealings or in your will. It can be used to hold you indefinitely in an institution without your consent and without charges or trial, or force you to continue taking drugs regardless of how they're affecting your life or well-being.

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights was established by the Church of Scientology to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights.

If you know anyone, including a child, who has been abused or harmed by a psychiatrist call The Citizens Commission on Human Rights at 1 800 670 2247. Complete confidentiality assured.

Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgeons Join Forces as Weekly Bloggers

Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgeons Join Forces as Weekly Bloggers

Ever wonder how you can get bargain prices from top plastic surgeons? Or why patients must first go through extensive physical exams before rejuvenation surgery? The answers to these and many other questions about plastic surgery are found on a new blog that carries two eminent Beverly Hills plastic surgeons, Robert Kotler, M. D. and Stuart Linder, M. D. Jointly, they are known as "Tuck 'N' Stitch."

Beverly Hills, CA. (PRWEB) September 11, 2008

Facial cosmetic surgeon Robert Kotler, M. D. (http://www. robertkotlermd. com), announced his partnership today with top body plastic surgeon, Stuart Linder, M. D., in a popular new blog, YourNewBodyBlog. com (http://www. yournewbodyblog. com) in which the duo are known as "Tuck 'N' Stitch."

Plastic Surgery Insiders

Dr. Kotler, who specializes exclusively in cosmetic procedures of the head and neck, is slated as the "FaceDocBlogger" while Dr. Linder, who offers only body procedures, is known as the "BodyDocBlogger." The doctors, who are billed as "the ultimate plastic surgery insiders," appear weekly in the blog.

Additionally, both are book authors and have appeared on leading television programs like Dr. 90210, Discovery Health, E. T., Extra, The Learning Channel, CNN and BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation.) Moreover, both are often quoted in leading publications like the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek and large dailies like the L. A. Times and the New York Times.

"In a world where incredible amounts of bad information are passed around as gospel truth, Dr. Linder and I want to set the record straight about many heretofore unrevealed aspects of plastic surgery," says Dr. Kotler.

Costs of Plastic Surgery

For instance, many rejuvenation surgery patients are surprised to learn that discounts are available from even top plastic surgeons during certain times of the years and under certain other conditions. A special, cost-of-plastic-surgery feature, Negotiate Fees with Your Plastic Surgeon (http://www. yournewbodyblog. com/2008/06/negotiate-fees-with-your-plastic-surgeon) in the blog explains exactly why and how you, too, can request a discount from your surgeon.

Of course, not all topics are sweetness and light.

"Even in the most capable of hands, an occasional plastic surgery procedure can produce unsatisfying results," says Dr. Linder. "We explain the top five ways for patients to handle the situation in Top 5 Remedies for Unsatisfying Plastic Surgery. (http://www. yournewbodyblog. com/2008/06/top-5-remedies-for-unsatisfying-plastic-surgery)

Before and After Pictures

Both doctors are board certified in their specialty, belong to the leading plastic and cosmetic surgery associations on the local, state and national level and offer decades of surgical experience, along with the before and after pictures of many, many happy patients.

For instance, while Dr. Kotler has performed over 4,000 rhinoplasties (cosmetic nose surgeries), Dr. Linder has provided breast augmentations for Playboy centerfolds.

"Occasionally, we both operate on one patient during one surgical session," says Dr. Kotler. "Those experiences resulted in a blog about super-specialists and team plastic surgery.

Hollywood's Awful Plastic Surgery

Tuck 'N' Stitch also keep a weather eye out for the peccadilloes of Hollywood's elite who may or may not experience excellent outcomes from their many plastic surgery sessions. One such blog, Hollywood's Awful Plastic Surgery (http://www. yournewbodyblog. com/2008/05/hollywoods-awful-plastic-surgery), pinpoints the common mistakes many performing artistis make before choosing a procedure and selecting a surgeon……who may or may not be qualified.
Yet another blog entry, Priscilla Presley and Her Silicone Woes (http://www. yournewbodyblog. com/2008/04/priscilla-presley-and-her-silicone-woes) offers a surgeon's eye view on when and where Ms. Presley went so wrong, she made herself much less attractive.
In a separate but related blog entry, Drs. Kotler and Linder tell how celebrities manage to have plastic surgery in secret. The doctors know because both surgeons must make sure their own famous patients remain unseen during rejuvenation surgery visits!

Other engrossing -- and highly useful -- topics include:

*Anesthesia is No Longer a Bug-Bear.
*Top Myths and Misconceptions about Plastic Surgery.
*Importance of Plastic Surgery in Weddings.
*How to Know You Are Really Ready for Plastic Surgery.
*How to Spot Overblown, Misleading Plastic Surgery Ads.
*Top 10 Signs You Need a Body or Face Re-do.
*Top 10 Things to Do for Self-Care after Plastic Surgery.
*How Plastic Surgery Changes Patients' Lives.

Plastic Surgery Patients

"The coming months promise to reveal much more insider information that only Beverly Hills plastic surgeons are in a position to know," Says Dr. Linder. "We trust our readers -- especially, plastic surgery patients -- will enjoy, learn from and profit by the many postings in the blog."

Deodorants Work On Odor, Not Sweat

Deodorants Work On Odor, Not Sweat

Noted Dermatologist, Dr. David Bank, Explains the Difference Between Antiperspirants and Deodorants

Edison, NJ (PRWEB) April 24, 2008

Noted dermatologist, Dr. David Bank, explains the difference between antiperspirants and deodorants.

Our bodies are naturally programmed to perspire, but what comes naturally isn't always desirable, especially if it causes body odor or leaves unsightly underarm stains on your clothes. Yet, as you reach for an antiperspirant or deodorant, it's important to know how each works to choose what is right for you. "The main difference: antiperspirants stop or dry up sweat, while deodorants - or any combination of them - help get rid of the odor by masking the smell with a fragrance," explains David Bank, M. D., dermatologist and director of The Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic and Laser Surgery in Mount Kisco, New York. "You'd be surprised how many people come to me with sweating issues and tell me they can't control it with what they are using - that's because it is a deodorant only."

Which One Should You Choose?

Antiperspirant, "the sweat blocker: Antiperspirants are the choice for controlling underarm sweating, since the most common active ingredients, aluminum compounds, block the pores to inhibit the release of sweat and help absorb odor-causing moisture. Most over the counter antiperspirants contain aluminum zirconium. However, for people who suffer from axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating), there is something more effective available - Certain Dri® Anti-Perspirant (http://www. certaindri. com/Pages/CD_Facts) , which contains 12% aluminum chloride, the strongest over-the-counter antiperspirant ingredient preferred by dermatologists to treat excessive sweating. Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant® should be used sparingly, only a few times per week, at bedtime, to control excessive sweating (use as directed).

Deodorant, the odor absorber: Deodorants cover up odor through a variety of fragrances and masking substances. Some also contain an antibacterial agent, such as triclosan, to prevent the release of odor by fighting bacteria growth that results from perspiration. Deodorants are best for stopping that sweaty smell, but won't stop the perspiration, itself. Deodorant, alone, is best for those people who do not have a problem with excessive sweating, yet want to feel fresh and odor free. Deodorants can provide an adequate level of day-to-day protection for someone with little to mild perspiration. If you use Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant (http://www. certaindri. com/Pages/CD_Facts) for controlling excessive sweating, but want added odor protection, look for Certain Dri A. M.TM Underarm Refresher, available in a new scented stick or roll-on application for morning use.

For more information about excessive sweating, Certain Dri products or the new "Make Certain You're Dry" blog (http://blog. dsehealthcare. com/certaindri), visit www. certaindri. com, or become a fan by visiting our facebook page.

*Methodology
Harris Interactive® fielded the study from February 28- March 2, 2006, via its QuickQuerySM online omnibus service, interviewing a nationwide sample of 2,099 U. S. adults, among whom 1,048 indicated that perspiration is sometimes or often a problem for them

Cardiac Glycosides in Prevention of Ischemic Stroke

Cardiac Glycosides in Prevention of Ischemic Stroke

Brazilian study confirm the findings of Duke University Medical Center researchers that cardiac glycosides provide neuroprotection in stroke occurrence. It was a study of 28 years that showed a low mortality for stroke in 1150 cardiac patients taking these drugs.

(PRWEB) July 13, 2006

Using a novel screening technology, Duke University Medical Center researchers have shown that drugs called cardiac glycosides can protect brain cells from death after stroke in laboratory models, and that the drugs are effective even if delivered six hours or more after the onset of stroke conditions (1).

"This discovery is exciting because it may lead to interventions to prevent or lessen the amount of brain damage suffered after stroke," said Donald C. Lo, Ph. D., director of the Center for Drug Discovery and associate professor of neurobiology at Duke, and primary investigator on the study

Currently, only one drug has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat stroke -- and it faces serious limitations, Lo said. Called recombinant tissue plasminogen activator, the drug must be given within a three-hour window after the onset of stroke. Also, because the drug is delivered intravenously and acts by breaking blood clots, it is ineffective against "hemorrhagic" strokes that happen when an artery bursts.

Lo speculates that cardiac glycosides may exert their beneficial effect during stroke in an analogous manner that in heart disease, by restoring calcium to healthy levels in brain cells and thereby preventing cell death. Calcium plays a key role in regulating normal cell function, and any changes in its cellular concentration -- such as those caused by stroke -- can be toxic (2).

Another recent study with statin drugs concluded that its use is associated with a reduced risk of stroke but not severity or mortality (3)

Related to the Duke University Medical Center research, a case study from Brazil confirm the very low mortality for stroke in 1150 patients with stable heart disease taking cardiac glycosides, during 28 years. The study was authored by Quintiliano H. de Mesquita and Claudio A. S. Baptista and published in Ars Cvrandi, a Brazilian medical journal in 2002 (4)

The stroke (ischemic + hemorrhagic) mortality in 28 years for the cardiac patients taking cardiac glycosides was:

994 patients w/out prior infarction - Stroke mortality: 13 cases (1.3%) = 0.04% per year. 156 patients with prior infarction - Stroke mortality: 7 cases (4.4%) = 0.15% per year.

For a better comparison in stroke mortality, with those taking cardiac glycosides, we can take the data from the HPS study, which had a follow-up of 5 years, involving 20.536 patients aged 40-80 years with coronary heart disease, other vascular diseases or diabetes. The HPS found a total stroke mortality of 0.9% (0.18% per year) in patients taking statins and 1.2% (0.24% per year) in patients taking placebo (5)

The permanent use of cardiac glycosides (Digitoxin, Digoxin, Acetildigoxin, Lanatoside-C, Betametildigoxin, or Proscillaridin-A) in low, daily therapeutic (non-toxic) doses from the Brazilian study was based on the Myogenic Theory of Myocardial Infarction and had as its objective the prevention of acute coronary syndromes (6, 7). The global mortality for the patients without previous myocardial infarction was 14.2% (0.5% per year), while the global mortality for the patients with previous myocardial infarction was 41.0% (1.4% per year). The numbers for mortality and morbidity are described in the Table 5 of the article. (1)

Isernio’s Cooks Up Healthy Flavor With New Seasoned Chicken Burgers

Isernio’s Cooks Up Healthy Flavor With New Seasoned Chicken Burgers

Seattle’s Isernio’s introduces three varieties of all-natural seasoned chicken burgers. A unique choice for today’s health-conscious food lovers.

Seattle (PRWEB) July 27, 2007

Who doesn’t love a tasty, juicy burger, fresh off the grill? But with today’s concerns about fat, calories and additives in our food, more and more Americans are looking for healthier alternatives to red meat. Now, burger lovers can grab hold of new healthy tastes with Isernio’s Chicken Burgers.

Made in the Northwest from 95% lean, certified all-natural, hormone-free skinless chicken and seasoned with premium herbs and spices, these chicken burgers pack a flavorful punch. No additives, preservatives, fillers or artificial flavors are used, and each gluten - and sugar-free burger has less than half the fat of a traditional beef burger.

Available in three flavors, Isernio’s Chicken Burgers cook in about 10 minutes on the grill or stovetop:
Provolone & Herb Chicken Burger - Generous shreds of aged sharp Provolone cheese accented with basil and sun-dried tomatoes. Italian Chicken Burger - Italian seasonings including fennel, garlic and a hint of red chili. Southwest Chicken Burger - Delicious chorizo flavors including cumin, chili, coriander and garlic creating a balanced south-of-the-border taste. Juicy and robust, with just enough satisfying heat.

Try them as a substitute for a beef, turkey or veggie patty to create your favorite burger with all the same trimmings. Or, get creative and add a gourmet twist – the Italian and Provolone & Herb Burgers are great with sautéed peppers and onions on an artisan roll, and the Southwest Burger pairs well with pepper jack cheese, salsa and guacamole.

Isernio’s all-natural chicken burgers are now sold in the frozen meat section of major Washington State supermarkets. They are also available for food service in 12-pound cases through SYSCO or Food Services of America. The burgers have a 12-month frozen shelf life, and are recommended to cook directly from frozen

For 27 years Isernio’s has been the Northwest’s sausage brand of choice, and now expands the premium line with seasoned chicken burgers. Isernio’s was founded in1980 by Frank Isernio, who transformed a love for quality food and his home sausage-making hobby into a brand that is now trusted and asked for by name. Hand-crafted with lean fresh, natural cuts of meat and poultry, Isernio’s products are offered in restaurants and supermarkets across the Northwest, and available nationally thorough distributors. PAX Premiers TV Special About “Miracles of The Passion” For May Sweeps

PAX Premiers TV Special About “Miracles of The Passion” For May Sweeps

Using night-vision technology used in the Iraq War, this TV special shows never-before-seen footage of people’s faces while they watch the moving film “The Passion of The Christ.” Hosted by former E. T. host Julie Moran, the documentary “Changed Lives: Miracles of The Passion" premieres this Sunday, May 23rd on PAX as a 1-hour television special. With rave reviews from the media, this inspirational program tells the true stories of people whose lives have been miraculously changed after seeing Mel Gibson’s groundbreaking film “The Passion of The Christ.” Executive producer Jody Eldred’s perseverance to complete this production, which he independently funded, is a testimony to one man's passion against all the odds to stay faithful to a vision.

Marina Del Rey, CA (PRWEB) May 19, 2004 -

— Hosted by former Entertainment Tonight host Julie Moran, the independently funded production “Changed Lives: Miracles of The Passion" premieres as a 1-hour television special on PAX this Sunday, May 23 at 10:00 p. m. (ET/PT); 9:00 p. m. (CT/MT). Executive producer Jody Eldred has already received rave reviews in the media on shows like ABC’s “Good Morning America, ” MSNBC’s “Scarborough Country,” “Inside Edition,” TBN’s “Praise the Lord,” and “Hour of Power” with Dr. Robert Schuller, Jr., for his inspirational program that tells the true stories of people whose lives have been miraculously changed after seeing Mel Gibson’s blockbuster motion picture “The Passion of The Christ.”

In their own words, the people interviewed for this uplifting documentary produced by Jody Eldred Productions give moving accounts of lives saved from the brink of death, relationships restored, diseases healed, spiritual awakenings to God, and even a confession to murder. Each credits having seen the film “The Passion of The Christ” for their miraculous experience.

One Colorado couple interviewed for the special almost lost their 11-month-old infant Kenna Beth when she drowned in a bathtub. “The moment I touched her, I knew she was gone. I knew she was not in her body,” says the baby’s father, Michael Branch. But incredibly, despite going nearly ten minutes without oxygen, Kenna Beth is alive and perfectly healthy today. According to her parents, this remarkable turn of events was a direct result of them both envisioning the scene in the film where Jesus is flogged, and praying the Bible verse “By His stripes we are healed,” during the incident.

Executive producer Jody Eldred’s perseverance to complete this production, which was shot in high definition, is a testimony to one man's passion against all the odds to stay faithful to a vision. “When I saw “The Passion,” I knew instantly that people’s lives were going to be radically changed by it,” says Eldred. “There was no question in my mind that these stories, these miracles, needed to be shared with the public.”

Eldred quickly found that the only way to make that happen was to pay for it himself, however, so he took out a home equity loan in order to purchase a high definition camera package with which to shoot show. Creating compelling and uplifting television is nothing new for Eldred, who has spent the last thirty years behind the camera, with recent credits including ABC News coverage on location in Kuwait during the Iraq War. But even with all his experience, Eldred readily admits, “This is the most challenging project I’ve ever undertaken.” Eldred found himself wearing multiple hats as director, writer, director of photography, cameraman, and team cheerleader in addition to his overall responsibilities as executive producer.

Eldred took advantage of night-vision technology used by journalists in the Iraq War, showing never-before-seen footage of people’s faces while they watch the intense and graphic film “The Passion of The Christ.” The images people as they react to the flogging scene in particular, are extremely moving and unforgettable.

“Changed Lives: Miracles of The Passion” has been successfully airing on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) since its network premier over Easter weekend. The reception to the program on TBN and in the media thus far is a sure indication that PAX viewers nationwide can count on being encouraged and uplifted by the program’s profound messages of hope and redemption.

Eldred assembled a dedicated production team for “Changed Lives: Miracles of The Passion,” including Emmy Award-winning senior producer Martha Cotton (producer credits include “NBC Nightly News” and “ABC News” segments, and “True Stories From Touched By An Angel”), segment producer Larry Reid (seasoned commercial producer whose director credits include PBS’s “30 Good Minutes,” and producer credits include “Damascus Roads”), and coordinating producer Karen Covell (producer credits include “Headliners & Legends With Matt Lauer,” “Boys Town: America’s Throwaway Children”). Statement of Need:

Sufficient sleep is not an absolute entity based on quantitative hours of rest, but rather a measure of the rest and restoration experienced by each individual. Epidemiological data suggests that approximately 10% of individuals suffer from some form of sleep disturbance. Insomnia is the most prevalent form of sleep disturbance, affecting approximately 34% of the general population. Conversely, excessive sleepiness is estimated to affect approximately 31% of the adult population. Excessive sleepiness can have a myriad of negative socioeconomic consequences, from diminished functioning at home and poor professional performance to increased incidence of accidents. In this evidence-based psychCME TV activity, the experts will look at the relationship between wakefulness and excessive sleepiness and offer tools and strategies for achieving positive outcomes in patients.

S. Marina Perdos provides a glorious oasis for mind, body, soul -- and skin. In her practice she offers you symphony of soothing and uplifting treats. Whether in an Aromatherapy Facial or Massage or both, you will relax deeply on her table, and emerge radiant. Her Astrology Sessions are as healing as her Bodywork. You will come away with a clearer sense of purpose and how to travel your path of fulfillment and happiness.

This year S. marina Perdos watched her Partners at Jumpat foretell economic cycles. So this summer when she saw signs of a strengthening job market, she decided to aggressively seize the opportunity. While many companies were reducing their advertising, Jumpat launched an aggressive marketing campaign – and it paid off.

Despite tight cash flow healing411.com Personnel hired Level Ten Design for a 21st century makeover. Healing411.com spent $22,000 on a new logo, business cards, stationary, job folders, premium website, search engine marketing and mailers. They also invested $15,000 on a new sales and telemarketing position for a 6 month period.

What did their $37,000 investment buy them? They doubled their money in just 6 months. S. Marina Perdos reported a $73,000 increase in profits within the first 6 months of the marketing campaign launch.

“Things have definitely picked up from last year," Perdos reports, “our revenues are up by a third.”

Healing411.com strives to maintain a balance between modernization and good old fashion relationship building. “We use modern qualifying tools, but what makes us different is that we try to match the applicant and client by getting to know both of them personally.”

This philosophy is echoed in their new identity and website. The look is neo-retro. It is high-tech but also reminiscent of days when personal relationships ruled the business world. Tom Tsilionis, Director of Jumpat. com stated, “The goal was to create an emotional brand that captured healing411.com’s charismatic yet professional attitude.”

The distinctive look coupled with strategic online and offline marketing is working well for outdoorseeker. com. “Our site receives the second most hits and many people have complimented us on the website, including people in the IT and network design field” reports Perdos, “we are getting a large number of resumes in through our online systems.”

As a result of their foresight, healing411.com is ideally positioned to capitalize on the strengthening job market.

Healing411.com has among the most popular activities, healing and wellness. Many of the public lands are open to healing, wellness or both. So no matter if you spiritual, health, healing or just enjoy soothing and uplifting treats; healing411.com offers abundant chances to do it all.

Why the 50+ Market?

Boomers mean business. The first boomer turned 60 on January 1, 2006. With 76 million U. S. boomers born between 1946 and 1964, this market is the largest, best-educated and wealthiest generation in U. S. history. Every seven seconds, someone is turning 50 years old. Boomers are in their peak earning years. By 2010, 47% of boomer households will have incomes above $50,000 (U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

Mary Furlong, Ed. D, CEO of Mary Furlong & Associates and co-producer of the What’s Next? Boomer Business Summit said, "Ninety-one percent of the net assets are in the hands of baby boomers, the youngest is now turning 40 years of age. This spending power combined with the changing needs and interests of this growing market give rise to tremendous opportunities."

Furlong said, "One of the core issues boomers face, in light of pension and social security concerns, is how they will finance their longevity. Entrepreneurship is one option for creative boomers willing to apply their corporate skills to independent thinking." More boomers are taking the entrepreneurial path. Entrepreneurs over 40 account for 54 percent of the self-employed, up from 48 percent in 2000 (Scripps Howard News Service, 2005). Furlong said, "Companies, non-profit organizations and individual entrepreneurs serving the boomer consumer must think entrepreneurially and really understand the market. The focus of this Summit is innovation and entrepreneurship."

"The American Society on Aging, through its constituent group, the Business Forum on Aging, has long supported and informed businesses serving the 50+ market," said Gloria Cavanaugh, ASA's president and CEO. "The Summit represents a real opportunity for business leaders to gain valuable insight into this market and therefore, take advantage of its enormous potential."
