(PRWEB) May 19, 2002

Ashland, Oregon – May 21, 2002 – PLEXIS Healthcare Systems, Inc. and Dakota Imaging announced today they have entered into a strategic alliance enabling both organizations to cross market and sell each others products and services to the healthcare marketplace. PLEXIS' suite of products offers payers, benefit administrators and health plans the functionality to facilitate accurate and automatic claims adjudication, referral authorizations, benefit administration, contract management, and the ability to fully integrate with accounting packages such as Great Plains Dynamics. Dakota Imaging provides turnkey systems and ASP solutions for automated data capture, transaction processing, document imaging and document management. Dakota provides ready-to-use solutions for various high-volume transaction processing applications to heath care insurance, fulfillment and government markets.

"It's extremely important to us to align ourselves with organizations such as Dakota Imaging in order to provide our clients with a complete array of products and services that will enable them to streamline their operations and realize a true ROI," says President and CEO, Jorge Yant. "Dakota has a well established business model and complements our suite of products extremely well."

Dakota's Transform software based systems are currently being used nationwide by customers in all segments of healthcare to process over 300 million transactions per year such as medical claims, dental claims, hospital claims, enrollment forms etc. Dakota's NetX EDI software based transaction processing systems are used by healthcare customers and clearinghouses to process over 1.8 billion electronic transactions per year. NetX is used by the leading medical insurance companies, BlueCross plans and Clearinghouses in such on-line applications as electronic medical claims, online real-time eligibility, encounters, referrals, claim status, claim correction, etc. A payer using Dakota's software for claim in-take typically reduces its claims processing cost by up to 50% per transaction.

Under this agreement, Dakota's industry leading automated claim in-take technology is now available to all existing and new PLEXIS customers, in a tightly integrated manner. The flexible availability of this combined comprehensive solution, via ASP and software licensing, allows all managed care organizations to benefit from this solution regardless of their capital position. A payer/claim processor that does not wish to invest any capital can still get all the benefits by accessing the solution on an ASP basis.

The combined solution allows a payer/claim processor to scan their incoming paper documents right in their mailroom using the Dakota provided scanners and scanning software. Documents do not need to be shipped anymore. Dakota's Transform software automatically routes all electronic images securely via the DakotaVPN (Virtual Private Network) to its 24x7 managed data center where all images are processed and converted to usable data. All errors are also identified and corrected automatically by Dakota and the final clean ready-to-process transaction data is then seamlessly processed by PLEXIS's claim adjudication software. Customers that do not wish to scan their documents can re-direct/ship them to a Dakota Service Center where they are processed by Dakota's personnel typically within 24 hours.

In addition, a claim adjudicator or customer/provider service operator can visually see the original image of all the documents pertaining to the transaction right on their PC screen while working within the PLEXIS claim software. Dakota's proven Transform software serves as the secure digital document warehouse for claims and attachments and provide all operators on-line real-time access to all archived transactions securely over the DakotaVPN. Dakota's digital document warehouse uses Dakota's proven Transform OFS technology which is currently powering some of the largest electronic document archives in healthcare; as large as 500 million documents online per archive.

"For a predictable monthly fee, payers and TPAs now have access to PLEXIS's proven claims processing software and Dakota's Transform Imaging and automated data capture technology. This provides a claim processor or payer one comprehensive end-to-end solution that automates the entire claim life cycle transaction from mail room to claim adjudication to provider service and long term transaction archival", commented Dakota's CEO Mr. Sandeep Goel.

Number of Homeless Female Veterans on the Rise; Final Salute Inc. Answers the Call

Number of Homeless Female Veterans on the Rise; Final Salute Inc. Answers the Call

Unique non-profit developed to provide housing assistance to homeless female Veterans

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) December 13, 2010

Final Salute Inc. (http://www. finalsaluteinc. org) was founded in November 2010 by a group of female Veterans and Veteran Advocates who became aware of the large number of homeless female Veterans in the United States.

There are currently over 13,000 homeless female Veterans in the United States. For the sacrifices they and their families have made, this is an unacceptable state for any of them to be in.

It is unfortunate for any Veteran to be homeless, but most Americans are not even aware that a homeless female Veteran population exists.

The mission of Final Salute Inc. is to provide homeless female Veterans with a place to call home.

Final Salute Inc. is taking a three-pronged approach to addressing the issues associated with the homelessness of female Veterans: Awareness. Assistance. Aspiration.

Over 2,000,000 female Veterans have served with honor and pride since the Revolutionary War.

More than 200,000 female Veterans have deployed during the Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF) Campaigns.

Of these 200,000, more than 600 have been wounded and over 100 have been killed.

There are 500 transitional housing programs for male veterans in the United States. Some of these locations accept female Veterans, however, female Veterans who may have experienced military sexual trauma (MST) may not be comfortable staying in co-ed facilities. There are other affordable housing programs and temporary housing units available to all Veterans, but the waiting lists are long and some female Veterans have minor children; some facilities cannot accommodate children.

Some of these female Veterans receive VA compensation, however, in most cases, the compensation received from the VA does not cover all associated cost of living.

Final Salute Inc. is the the only non-profit organization that offers housing assistance exclusively to homeless female Veterans.

With the help of the American people and corporate sponsors, we know our mission is achievable.

Why are we doing this? Because it’s the right thing to do.

We are currently looking for Local, Regional, and National Apartment Associations to partner with Final Salute Inc. and provide these homeless female Veterans with safe, temporary housing until we have completed our residential communities.

Once established, The Rental Partnership Program will provide homeless female Veterans with temporary housing within 90 days of being accepted into our Housing Assistance Program.

We understand that being placed on a waiting list for housing can sometimes equate to months and even years; we feel these homeless female Veterans have waited long enough.

You have vacant units; there are homeless female Veterans who need housing (make the connection).

We are initially looking to partner in the following areas: California, DC Metro Area, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, and Texas.

These areas have the largest populations of female Veterans and are also the areas where we have chosen to build our initial communities.

TrimTalk® Dieter Talks Her Way to Sustained Weight Loss

TrimTalk® Dieter Talks Her Way to Sustained Weight Loss

She credits personal TrimTalk phone coach for helping her reach her goals.

Stuart, FL (PRWEB) December 18, 2007

Debbie Chabot, a 47 year old wife, mother, and retired nurse practitioner, proudly shares her new discovery. She confides, "I no longer need to stifle my feelings with food or comfort myself with cookies and ice cream." Debbie credits this breakthrough to her relationship with her personal TrimTalk coach, Francine Seminara. Debbie openly discussed her emotions during weekly phone meetings with Francine, a credentialed expert in human behavior. "I've never had a truly objective person 'really' listen to me, cheer me on or reassure me when I fell. No matter what challenge came along, my coach Francine was there with insights and strategies to help me reach my goal."

It's no surprise that Debbie lost over 10 percent of her body weight (17 pounds) in her first three months with TrimTalk (www. trimtalk. com). What appears astonishing is Debbie's full expectation that the weight will stay off, due to her continuing relationship with Francine. "Thanks to TrimTalk, I now have higher self-esteem and more self-confidence. For the first time in my life, I feel validated and accepted as a whole integrated being - a result of my healing from the inside out. My experience with TrimTalk has been far more than just a diet, since I have begun to reconcile the root issues that were influencing my unhealthy eating behavior."

No wonder TrimTalk is the leading national provider of live, on-demand, expert-based weight loss coaching by toll-free telephone. The company's resources include the cornerstone one-on-one coaching, personalized meal and fitness guidelines, comprehensive 70-page weight-loss "workbook", The Ram Nut Diet book, and other tools that promote safe, natural and effective long-term weight loss and maintenance.

TrimTalk was founded by Leonard J. Ram, MD, a medical board certified gastroenterologist and physician nutrition specialist. The company offers direct, as-needed access to diet and fitness guidance, motivation, and support based on individual needs and schedules. A team of specially trained weight-loss coaches are accessible from 6 a. m. through midnight EST. TrimTalk clients also benefit from a professional managerial staff: a registered and licensed dietitian, exercise physiologist, and a social worker specializing in emotional education.

TrimTalk benefits include:
Personal and confidential one-on-one coaching Client centered programs Convenient scheduling from anywhere Adaptability to any diet or fitness plan No costly supplements, drugs or diet food

"TrimTalk's distinctive services fill the untapped void between high cost drive-to weight loss centers with embarrassing weigh-ins, and impersonal weight loss web sites," said Dr. Ram. "Our approach represents a new breed of diet programs striving to help today's discerning, somewhat jaded, and 'serially unsuccessful' dieter. Combining our individualized approach with convenience, accessibility and anonymity creates a new industry paradigm. And we're thrilled to be leading the charge."

So is Debbie Chabot, who couldn't be happier she found TrimTalk!

Significant Reductions in Air Pollution Attained by Petroecuador in Test of Green Plus TM Fuel Catalyst

Significant Reductions in Air Pollution Attained by Petroecuador in Test of Green Plus TM Fuel Catalyst

Biofriendly Corporation has introduced Green Plus TM, a liquid fuel combustion catalyst, the world's most effective solution for significantly improving fuel economy and reducing harmful emissions.

Quito, Ecuador (PRWEB) November 21, 2006

Biofriendly Corporation announced the results of tests conducted by Petroecuador, the national oil company of Ecuador. The tests were designed to evaluate the effectiveness of Green Plus TM in reducing major combustion gas emissions in diesel engines. The Research Technology Development Unit of Petroecuador supervised the tests, with the participation of Chemeng, a government approved testing organization.

The Petroecuador report concluded that Green Plus TM demonstrated an ability to significantly reduce the four major toxic and gaseous emissions of diesel fuel combustion that can lead to serious health problems and climate-changing effects.

The tests were conducted on diesel buses as well as stationary engines utilizing certified test equipment. The results of the stationary engines showed Carbon Monoxide (CO) emissions dropped by an average of 52.27%, Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions decreased by an average of 43.57%, and Sulfur Dioxide (SOx) emissions decreased by an average of 50.06%. On the mobile source bus engines, "The opacity of the smoke produced in the emissions of the two buses was reduced by levels of more than 90% in periods of five to fifteen days," according to Petroecuador, Carbon Monoxide was reduced by an average of 54.98%, Nitrogen Oxides reduced by 53 %, and Sulfur Dioxide by 4.66%.

According to the report, there is an "Urgent need to improve air quality" in Ecuador. Immediate and long-term reductions of respiratory diseases; decreases in the number of vehicles that emit large quantities of smoke; cleaner engines, buildings and cities; more tourism as a result of better air quality; and improved efficiency - are all potential benefits of using the Green Plus TM fuel catalyst.

Under development for over 10 years, Green Plus TM is a new product that employs nanotechnology (working at the molecular level) to achieve a breakthrough combination of improved fuel economy and reduced emissions. Green Plus TM is a liquid combustion catalyst that is added in very small quantities to fuel in order to create a more complete, cooler and more linear burn. The product has undergone rigorous testing in the United States and Europe, and has over 75 million miles of on-road/on-ocean use. Green Plus TM is now available commercially in Ecuador.

About Biofriendly Corporation

HealthSouth to Join Access Medical Card Network

HealthSouth to Join Access Medical Card Network

HealthSouth Corporation, Birmingham, Alabama, has signed a contract for its surgery centers in the San Francisco Bay Area to join the AccessMedical Provider Network. HealthSouth joins a growing network of over 400 physicians and healthcare facilities to offer affordable healthcare alternatives for the uninsured and the self-pay patients who are members of the AccessMedicalCard program.

PLEASANTON, CA (PRWEB) May 13, 2004 -

– AccessMedicalCard Affordable Health Program announced today that HealthSouth Corporation, Birmingham, Alabama, has signed a contract for its surgery centers in the San Francisco Bay Area to join the AccessMedical Provider Network. HealthSouth joins a growing network of over 400 physicians and healthcare facilities to offer affordable healthcare alternatives for the uninsured and the self-pay patients who are members of the AccessMedicalCard program. AccessMedicalCard is not medical insurance. It is a healthcare discount program with direct contracts for reduced-fee healthcare with each of its providers. “Discounts for members of the AccessMedicalCard program are 40% below our standard fees”, says Karen Stevens, Administrator of the Tri-Valley Surgery Center, Pleasanton, CA.

HealthSouth CorporationÂ’s Bay Area surgery centers that have joined the AccessMedicalCard provider network include: Blackhawk Surgery Center, Danville, CA; Tri-Valley Surgery Center, Pleasanton, CA; Castro Valley Surgery Center, Castro Valley, CA; San Francisco Surgery Center, San Francisco; Forest Surgery Center, San Jose, CA

These HealthSouth surgery centers are licensed by the State of California and accredited by The Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). HealthSouthÂ’s surgery centers are designed to meet the highest standards of care and to perform various types of outpatient surgical procedures such as orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, gynecology, gastroenterology, general surgery, plastic surgery and podiatry.

”With insurance coverage for many procedures being decreased and an increased number of self-pay patients, today’s medical consumers are looking for cost-effective alternatives. Advances in medical technology mean that many procedures that once required a hospital stay, can be now performed safely and effectively on an outpatient basis in a Surgery Center,” said Neurosurgeon, Robert Lieberson, M. D. who performs complex neurosurgical spine surgery at the Tri-Valley Surgery Center, Pleasanton, CA.

Discounts for outpatient surgeries include the fees of anesthesiologists and the surgeons who are also members of the AccessMedical Provider Network. AccessMedicalCard has reduced the price of outpatient surgeries by thousands of dollars. For example, the savings on a procedure such as a knee arthroscopy average $4,000 to $5,000. Savings on a colonoscopy average $1,500 and procedures as complex as spine surgery are priced to save AccessMedicalCard members over $10,000. Hospital prices for the same procedure are as high as $40,000.

AccessMedicalCard is the first program in the nation to offer global fee discounting of outpatient surgery for the uninsured and self-pay patient. “By negotiating discounts for surgical professional fees, anesthesiology fees and surgery center facility fees we can dramatically lower the costs of outpatient care,” says Neal Gilbert, President of Surgical Care Partners, Inc. “Approximately 90% of the surgical procedures performed in a hospital can be safely performed in an outpatient surgery center. AccessMedicalCard has further reduced the cost of healthcare by eliminating all claims processing, billing, accounts receivable management and bad debts for its providers and members.”

HealthSouth surgery centers, along with other surgery centers in the AccessMedical Provider Network, offer overnight care. Overnight care extends the range and complexity of the procedures surgery centers can offer. Hundreds, and even thousands of dollars, can be added to the savings for AccessMedicalCard members when the discounts of services, such as diagnostic imaging (X-Ray, CT and MRI) and physical therapy are included.

About AccessMedicalCard

AccessMedicalCard is a rapidly growing Bay Area PPO network of over 400 physicians and outpatient providers, dedicated to offering a web-enabled, fee-for-service discount, membership-based healthcare program for families, individuals and businesses. Mothering: Three Generations of Women Share Yoga and Much More

Mothering: Three Generations of Women Share Yoga and Much More

Grandmother, Daughter and Granddaughter strengthen their relationships while practicing yoga.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) May 11, 2006

In Seattle, Washington, Joy Atwood, Teresa Luttrell and Lizzie Luttrell are sharing a path that is deepening their relationships while improving their health and wellbeing. Grandmother Joy, 68, has joined her daughter, Teresa, 46, and 16 year old granddaughter Lizzie in a journey called Dahn Yoga (www. dahnyoga. com).

Dahn Yoga (sometimes referred to as Dahn Hak or Dahnhak) began as an ancient Korean training program to educate the population on how to develop both the mind and the body. “Dahn” means energy, vitality, and origin of life, and "Hak" means study, philosophy, and theory. Dahn Yoga practitioners learn how to listen to their bodies, rest their minds, and become more reflective and calm.

Teresa was the first to discover the practice and four years later she is an advanced healer and teacher.

“I was ‘divinely guided’ to Dahn and wandered into a Dahn Center without knowing what it was all about,” Teresa said. Coincidentally, that very same week Teresa had also begun a separate quest to become a Religious Science minister and is currently working on a masters degree in consciousness studies. “My ministerial call is to be a healer of divisions caused by religion and to bridge the Western philosophies largely embraced in the United States and the Eastern teachings of the Asian countries. My religious training addresses world religions, quantum physics, philosophy, mind-body medicine and psychology—primarily but not exclusively the Western traditions--while my Dahn training is rooted in Eastern cultures,” she noted.

Her enthusiasm for not only the yoga program but other Dahn teachings inspired her mom to get involved who had suffered pain from fibromyalgia, a common condition of widespread muscular pain and fatigue. “Dahn changed my life. I could hardly get out of bed, get in or out of the car because of my fibromyalgia. I figured I’d done it all - I’d been married raised kids, I was through. I had no vision and I’d shut down all the energy in my body,” said Joy.

She then discovered Dahn Yoga which opened the energy channels in her body and reduced the pain and discomfort from her illness. She also began teaching the related Brain Respiration program to children, giving her a renewed vision and purpose. Brain Respiration is a special way of breathing which makes the brain active by means of “Ki” – Korean expression for Bio-energy or power of life. Through Brain Respiration the blood and energy circulation is activated, bringing more oxygen to the brain. The program is used widely with children to help them improve their learning comprehension. Studies show kids also increase concentration, confidence and the ability to handle stress, leading to a positive outlook on life.

Not to be left out, high school sophomore Lizzie has also embraced the teachings of Dahn Yoga after seeing how much happier her mother and grandmother became after starting the yoga program. “I figured, ‘hey why not’, even if it doesn’t work for me, at least I’ll get more flexible,” recalls Lizzie. As it turns out, it did work for her and she loves it. In addition to the yoga classes, she has taken some tai chi classes and has gone to something called the Healer School in mystical Sedona, Arizona during which she learned to overcome her fears and become a stronger, more confident person. Lizzie is now a full-time International Baccalaureate student, an intensive global academic program offered at her high school. Her mom credits Lizzie's Dahn experience for the marked reduction in her stress levels that have been evident this year, as well as her daughter's desire to go to an IB school abroad next year—which is not something that the pre-Dahn Lizzie would likely have chosen because of lack of confidence. "She recognizes her tendency for shyness but now chooses to do what's needed to strengthen those areas within her," said her mom.

The Dahn experience has also deepened her relationship with her mother. “My mom and I have always been close, but I think that sharing our love of Dahnhak has brought us closer, and that’s something I’m always thankful for,” she said.

“The women in our family have always had a strong connection, but the experiences we’ve shared through our Dahn training have made us happier and stronger,” said Teresa. Mothers Day is Sunday, May 14 and these three generations of dynamic women plan to spend the day together; not the typical brunch but likely something spontaneous and meaningful to them.

For more information on Dahn Yoga, a holistic training program that empowers individuals to find tools that they can use to manage their own well-being, and its related programs, visit the website at www. dahnyoga. com.

Physician Produces Fitness Podcast to Confront the Growing Burden of Chronic Disease

Physician Produces Fitness Podcast to Confront the Growing Burden of Chronic Disease

The Fitness Rocks Podcast has added three new health and fitness authorities to its panel of experts. Fitness Rocks provides a weekly podcast by a physician on topics of healthy weight loss, eating habits, and exercise. The podcast is a weekly conversation on how to be healthy.

Cape Cod, MA (PRWEB) October 21, 2006

The Fitness Rocks Podcast (www. fitnessrocks. org), created and produced by Monte Ladner, M. D. (Dr. Monte), has added three new fitness professionals to its panel of experts. Paul Sorace, M. S. holds a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and is a member of the Cardiac Rehabilitation staff at Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey. Susan Kraus, M. S. R. D holds a Masters degree in Nutrition. Mary Guarino, Ph. D. holds a doctorate in Applied Developmental Psychology and is the owner of Stellar Self (www. stellarself. com), a Life and Wellness coaching practice in Washington, DC. All three have published several articles on topics related to Health and Fitness. Dr. Guarino is the author of It’s Your Time Now: What Will You Do With It? Each of the three will be appearing in guest interviews on a monthly basis on the podcast.

Monte Ladner, M. D. began producing Fitness Rocks in June of 2006. He has produced sixteen weekly shows, and the podcast has had over 11,000 unique downloads primarily from Apple iTunes. The Podcast is free.

The motivation behind Fitness Rocks was Dr. Ladner’s clinical observations of the poor general health of most of his patients, and what he perceived as their lack of basic knowledge about how to live a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Ladner notes that chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, and others account for hundreds of billions of dollars in health care spending every year in the USA. Chronic diseases are largely preventable by following the basic tenets of healthy living – regular exercise, a healthy diet, not smoking, avoiding excessive alcohol, and maintaining a healthy weight. Sadly, according to an article in the Archives of Internal Medicine, only about three percent of Americans follow these healthy habits.

The Fitness Rocks Podcast is Dr. Ladner’s attempt to “teach people how to be healthy.” Dr. Ladner is also interested in debunking what he calls the “fitness mythology” that permeates popular culture. The Fitness Rocks Podcast steers people away from unnecessary dietary supplements and fad diets and points them in the direction of sensible lifestyle habits backed by the weight of sound research provided in the current mainstream, peer-reviewed medical literature.

Parents: Don't Let Your Kids Get Stuck Without Shots

Parents: Don't Let Your Kids Get Stuck Without Shots

Back to school time and El Paso children line up to get immunized.

El Paso, TX (PRWEB) August 6, 2007

As children begin to prepare to return to school, immunizations should top the priority list this summer. As immunization recommendations have changed, parents should take this time to have their shot record reviewed and get their child's vaccination record up to date. ProAction has once again partnered with area school districts to conduct a month-long sweep of area schools.

Health officials are now recommending a second dose of chicken pox vaccine, which could help them prevent contracting the highly contagious and itchy illness. Other vaccine recommendations would also include application of a new type of Tetanus vaccine with now includes a whooping cough component. Typically children over 11 can seek out the new tetanus shot.

"We are now able to vaccinate against over 14 preventable diseases -- a wonderful feat for the healthcare community. It is now our chief mission to assure that everybody is able to reap the benefits of these remarkable breakthroughs," said Dusty Warden, Outreach Coordinator for ProAction.

"By visiting as many areas as possible, we can help assure that every child has an opportunity to be immunized, allow them to enter or continue school and ultimately creating healthier communities," Warden continued.

Immunization outreach clinics will span across all parts of El Paso County. Earlier this year ProAction also expanded their clinic hours, which should also help accommodate the larger than normal crowds expected during this time of year.

Patients presenting Medicaid or CHIP will receive their immunizations at no cost, otherwise immunizations are only $10.00 per child, regardless of the number of shots received. A list of immunization locations and times can be found at www. ImmunizeElPaso. org or by calling 915/533-3414.

Background Information

Libertyville, Ill. (PRWEB) May 15, 2009

Platinum Lifestyle Changes, Inc. is pleased to announce America's most exciting new weight control program. Using only the most successful and well-researched techniques, the program was developed by noted psychologist, Dr. Allan Markle, who has conducted weight control programs for more than 30 years. Because of its long history of success and the fact that it is tailored to each individual, it is called Your Platinum Weight Loss Program.

With obesity having reached epidemic proportions, Dr. Markle's primary goal was to make the program available to the greatest possible number of people. He soon realized that the first important step was to make the program available online, avoiding expensive publishing and shipping costs. First Performance-Based Medical Marketing Company Launches

First Performance-Based Medical Marketing Company Launches

Health Services Media Rolls Out its Flagship Performance-Based Chiropractor Marketing Product in San Francisco and Miami Markets

Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 19, 2010

Health Services Media (HSM), a groundbreaking cost per acquisition medical marketing company servicing the chiropractic community, announces the initial rollout of their services in the San Francisco, CA, and Miami, FL, metropolitan areas. HSM’s innovative marketing programs attract new chiropractic patients on a fixed cost per lead basis. Because HSM removes the burden of new client acquisition, the chiropractic professional is able to focus exclusively on client well-being while still growing their patient base.

HSM utilizes proven methods of local advertising (radio, television and the internet) to attract new clients to their network of preferred chiropractors. New patients are then able to book appointments directly with local community chiropractors who have joined the network. Clients know they are getting a chiropractor vetted through HSM and chiropractors no longer have to worry about their advertising efforts.

HSM representative Brandon Blum remarks, “In this depressed economic climate, many chiropractors feel it can be especially difficult to fund costly advertising campaigns and attract new patients. Some were experiencing a dwindling client base and felt frustrated and worried about declining revenues. They found the solution to this dilemma with our unique cost per lead model. Now the doctor knows exactly what a new patient costs and can leave the advertising to us.”

The HSM service is actually quite simple. A chiropractor contracts for the exclusive rights to new patients in their zip code and provides HSM with a description of their practice (specialties, education, office hours, etc.). HSM then targets their advertising to the pertinent localities and attracts potential patients who want to consult with a doctor in their area. Interested patients contact HSM, who in turn record their contact information and transfer them to the nearest network chiropractor. Now that the chiropractor has a booked client, all they need to worry about is treating the patient.

Health Services Media plans to aggressively expand their chiropractic lead system nationwide during the 3rd quarter of 2010. HSM is confident that as they grow, word will spread regarding the benefits of chiropractic treatment as a non-surgical, non-evasive alternative to traditional medical procedures. HSM, the first performance-based medical marketing company for chiropractors, truly is charting a new course for medical professionals.

Leader in Dementia Care Products Accelerates Expansion into Japan

Leader in Dementia Care Products Accelerates Expansion into Japan

Medical Care Corporation, the leading provider of dementia care products in the U. S., accelerates its expansion into Japan supported by government initiatives to detect, prevent and effectively manage dementia.

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) March 13, 2007

Medical Care Corporation (MCC), a California-based healthcare technology company, and three Japanese healthcare service organizations have announced a restructuring of their existing partnership agreements. To more effectively serve new Japanese government wellness initiatives, Saint-Care Corporation, Millennia Corporation, and Imagine Global Care Corporation will collaborate in Japan to speed the adoption of MCC's dementia care products and to efficiently perform wellness assessments on a mass scale.

The longevity of the Japanese population and the rising costs of caring for the elderly have led the Japanese government to develop guidelines for the prevention of dementia. These new guidelines, which include dementia preventative assessments for the elderly, will go into effect beginning in April 2007. Following this campaign, a dementia risk management initiative for younger adults will take effect in April 2008.

One key factor in successfully managing the health of an aging population is the availability of effective tools for assessing cognitive health. "MCC's dementia care products can facilitate prevention, early detection, and management of dementia more effectively than any other available technology. When early stage memory loss is detected, timely intervention can significantly improve treatment efficacy, delay progression of the underlying problem, and improve the patient's quality of life. Doing so is the key to reducing the economic and social burdens of dementing disorders like Alzheimer's disease," says Dennis Fortier, CEO of Medical Care Corporation.

Saint-Care Corporation provides home healthcare services and manages care facilities; Millennia Corporation specializes in home healthcare, hospital management and large-scale data collection; and Imagine Global Care Corporation specializes in prescription drug sales and physician practice business support.

About Medical Care Corporation

Medical Care Corporation develops highly comprehensive dementia care products for healthcare professionals. Their technology enables accurate identification and effective management of memory loss from its earliest stages onward. The company's MCI Screen is 97.3% accurate in distinguishing a pre-dementia stage called mild cognitive impairment (MCI) from normal aging. The company is also a leader in communicating the value of prevention and early detection to patients and caregivers through its website and educational materials. Additional information about the company is available at two websites: For Health Care Providers: www. mccare. com; For Patients and Caregivers: www. preventad. com

Retail Thought-Leader Joins Creative Realities to Lead Global In-Store Strategy Initiatives

Retail Thought-Leader Joins Creative Realities to Lead Global In-Store Strategy Initiatives

Experiential marketing firm adds prominent retail and customer experience consultant, Laura Davis-Taylor, to its team.

Fairfield, NJ (PRWEB) January 11, 2010

Experiential branding and marketing firm, Creative Realities, announced that Laura Davis-Taylor has joined the organization as Vice President of Global Retail Strategy. Davis-Taylor, who was recently named by Retail TouchPoints Magazine as one of the industry's "Top Analysts," will oversee the firm's retail strategy initiatives. She will be part of Studio CRI, the firm's strategy and creative group.

"We've always believed in the importance of big picture strategy," says Creative Realities' Founder and CEO, Jason Friedman. "We're excited to add a renowned retail strategist to our team and to expand our capabilities for clients."

Davis-Taylor says she decided to join the Inc. 5000 firm, because she sees it as a visionary company that has the leadership, resources, and global reach to help change retail.

"Retail is at a critical juncture," she says. "Companies can either become obsolete by applying old-school marketing dogma to the retail environment - what I call 'Find me, sell me' philosophy -- or they're going to understand that, in the future of retail, the consumer has as much authority as they do over their brand, and they'll embrace consumer experience, which I call 'Know me, help me' philosophy."

Davis-Taylor began her career in 1992 by working in the advertising industry. Early on, she decided the best way to help clients was by getting a wide-ranging understanding of all consumer communication channels. She took on projects in traditional advertising, brand planning, creative services, account services, merchandising, and environmental design - and founded the interactive division for the Southeast's largest private ad agency.

Miller Zell hired Davis-Taylor as a Vice President. There, she used her cross-channel expertise to work with retailers like Wal-Mart, Circuit City, and H&R Block. She helped these organizations create strategies for enhancing all of their customer experience touch points.

By working with retailers, Davis-Taylor realized the importance of brand strategy and in-store messaging to connect emotionally with customers and influence buying decisions. Prior to joining Creative Realities, Davis-Taylor headed Retail Media Consulting (RMC), which she founded to help brands build strategy, activation methods, and measurement analytics around digital media in retail stores.

Davis-Taylor serves as an advisor for several organizations in the fields of retail, customer experience, and digital signage. She is the Chair of the POPAI Digital Signage Advocacy Committee, a board member of the Digital Signage Expo Advisory Board, and a board member of the Digital Content Circle advisory board.

Davis-Taylor is also an industry thought leader. She is a columnist for Digital Signage Magazine, co-wrote the book "Lighting Up the Aisle: Practices and Principles for In-store Digital Media" (2007), and contributed to the soon-to-be-released "Digital Signage Best Practices Guide" (2010). She has keynoted and been an expert panel member at dozens of events.

Insurenow4less. com Helps Consumers Save Money on Insurance

Insurenow4less. com Helps Consumers Save Money on Insurance

Insurenow4less. com provides cheap car insurance quotes to the public with no obligation of purchasing a policy. Insurenow4less. com will help consumers compare quotes from many insurance companies, including the more popular companies.

Anderson, IN (PRWEB) April 1, 2009

Insurenow4less. com provides cheap car insurance quotes to the public with no obligation of purchasing a policy. Insurenow4less. com will help consumers compare quotes from many insurance companies, including the more popular companies.

In an effort to save money, consumers are opting to cut back on expenses - including auto insurance - during this time of economic hardship. Consumers looking for a smart way to find better coverage for a cheaper rate can turn to Insurenow4less. com to see if they qualify for lower auto insurance rates and car insurance comparison.

The process of receiving auto insurance quotes from Insurenow4less. com begins on the site by entering the residential zip code. The remaining information is gathered from a short list of necessary questions regarding the vehicle and driver's information. When the questions have been answered, the consumer will be given a list of quotes from car insurance companies for review. Lastly, the consumer is invited to choose their most favored policy to be purchased online. However, there is no obligation to purchase.

With no limitations on the number of quotes received, consumers should realize this benefit and research different coverage options in auto insurance policies and the difference of price between them. Comparing these enables the consumer to make a more informed decision regarding an auto insurance policy, while saving money.

If any driver experiences an accident with insufficient auto insurance, the auto insurance company will cover the expenses up to the purchased liability amount. Any expenses incurred that exceed this limit then becomes the responsibility of the driver. Rising costs in auto repair and medical bills enforce the need to purchase higher auto insurance liability amounts to keep a consumer from paying accident expenses out-of-pocket.

Using Insurenow4less. com to compare adding versus excluding different coverage options to a policy can show consumers what may end up as a small price difference for stronger protection. The difference in cost may mean the difference between the insurance company covering all accident-related expenses and the consumer reaching for the checkbook.

Insurenow4less. com supports consumers in their effort to find cheaper car insurance (http://www. insurenow4less. com). Their ability to distribute quotes is free of charge and widely available for the public's use. No limits on the number of quotes received combined with no cost is a winning combination leading to better insurance rates.

In addition to car insurance quotes, Insurenow4less. com also provides the public with quotes for other insurance types, such as life, health, and home insurance. Just as the car insurance quotes, life, health, and home insurance quotes come from reputable insurance companies found in the consumer's area. They are provided after necessary information has been given regarding current circumstances about the type of insurance needed.

Insurenow4less. com's willingness to aid consumers in saving money is apparent in their effort to provide free insurance quotes (http://www. insurenow4less. com) to all consumers.
