TomoTherapy and Hitachi Medical Corporation Sign Letter of Intent for Hi∙Art® System Distribution in Japan

TomoTherapy Incorporated (NASDAQ:TOMO) announced today that it has signed a letter of intent with Hitachi Medical Corporation (HMC) to distribute the Hi·Art® cancer treatment system in Japan.

Terms of the agreement between TomoTherapy and HMC are being finalized. Details will be announced upon contract signing. The partnership between TomoTherapy and Hitachi Medical Corporation is expected to commence by the end of 2008.
