Dr. Alale (Princess Rhoda of Ijo) will be the guest speaker, this Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 3:30 PM at Quinn Chapel AME Church, 50 N. Lincoln St., Wilmington, OH, 937 382 7121. She is the daughter of the late Forest E. and the late Pastor Garnette "Merle" Wilson ( who served in ministry at Quinn Chapel) and the wife of the late Prince Charles Alale of Ijo, Agbere, Nigeria.

Dr. Rhoda Zione Alale was dually appointed Senior Advisor at the White House Initiative Forum at University Central in Cincinnati, OH and as a fellow in the Harvard Resource Development Institute. Through both, Dr. Alale will serve as "Point Strategist" for Jenise "Jo" Patterson, the President of Parent Watch, Inc. (PWI) based in Washington, D. C. Parent Watch is an initiative in the White House's Helping America's Youth program of the Office of the First Lady. Ms. Patterson also is appointed by President George W. Bush to the Federal Judicial Committee for Juvenile Justice.

Dr. Alale's responsibilities will include corporate consulting for development and repositioning the PWI for a national platform of birthing "family caring centers" through Parent Watch's flagship, the Community Resource Network Project (CRNP) partnerships. In particular, Dr. Alale will facilitate a collaborative with the CRNP and programs from Harvard University to build the emotional capacity of families to sustain unity. "American families are under great stress and violence is erupting in our homes, schools, workplaces and communities. Research shows that with the demise of families, community violence and crime increases. Families who can obtain low-resistant, low--aggression communication styles are MOST effective in building healthy relationships that forge togetherness and stabilization"...says Dr. Alale. The Harvard programs include Anger Management, Communication, Stress Management, and Emotional Intelligence. President Bush has allocated over 40 billions dollars through The White House Faith Based and Community Initiatives Office for such collaboratives between Federal / States agencies and civic / community based organizations to build capacity for family life in America.
