Cheryl Lynne Rubbo, a martial artist trained in Qigong, TÂ’ai Chi Chuan and Shao Lin Chuan, will be leading a class on Qigong designed for women. Qigong is an integral part of a wellness/fitness lifestyle for people of all ages seeking to maintain their good health, as well as for those dealing with illnesses and injuries.

(PRWEB) June 4, 2004

“Women have great capacity to become exquisitely attuned to the ebb and flow of the energies of nature, as they carry within them the ability to create life,” says Cheryl Lynne Rubbo. “I feel honored to teach women how to develop tranquility and self-awareness, strengthen their focus and intuition, and reduce the effects of stress.”

Learn how to access the natural healing abilities of your mind and body with the ancient Chinese healing system of Qigong. Combining guided intention, movement, meditation and visualization, daily practice of Qigong exercises will enhance your mind/body/spirit connection and promote self-healing.

“Cheryl Lynne’s commitment to healing and empowering women has given me the courage to change my negative self-image. By creating a supportive environment where positive thought patterns take hold, she has allowed me to take charge of my body and mind. Cheryl Lynne holds the space for all of us to gather, to heal and to recognize the true essence of our hearts.” Josefina G.

The cost of the class is $10.00. All levels welcome. Please join us on Tuesday, July 6th, 2004, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Open Secret Bookstore, 923 C Street, San Rafael, California.
