The Institute for Health Technology Transformation announced today several key participants for their Winter Health IT Summit taking place February 9-10, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Institute for Health Technology Transformation announced today several key participants for their Winter Health IT Summit taking place February 9-10, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Some of the featured participants at this year's Winter Health IT Summit include: RelayHealth; Paul Browne, SVP & CIO, Trinity Health; Judy Van Norman, Senior Director of Clinical Informatics, Banner Health; Archie Galbraith, Chief Technology Officer, UCLA Medical Sciences; and Linda Kloss, CEO, American Health Information Management Association.

Linda Kloss will present this year's opening Keynote presentation and will moderate the panel entitled "Stuffing Your Wallet: Financial Benefits from Electronic Health Information Exchange." RelayHealth will be participating as a speaker on the HIE Panel. "Having one of the premier providers of Web-based communication services that connects doctors and their patients is truly an incredible benefit for our attendees," said Waco Hoover, CEO, Institute for Health Technology Transformation. "Attendees will be able to discover how to analyze specific savings and revenue opportunities and how to cost-share expenditures across the network."

Paul Browne will be presenting a case study on Tuesday February 9th. Paul is currently responsible for all elements of the Trinity Health information services function including 1200 IS professionals in seven states. Paul is also responsible for Trinity's enterprise level Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO is responsible for development of Trinity's Annual Tactical Plan and coordination of programs and projects within the plan.

Judy Van Norman, of Banner Health, has also been selected to speak at this year's Summit. Judy currently leads the system-wide adoption of information technology to improve care delivery for Banner Health. Prior to Banner Health, Judy was the Assistant Vice Present of Clinical Systems at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System.

Archie Galbraith has been selected to speak on the very timely panel entitled "Privacy After ARRA: Opportunity or Challenge?" Archie has been working with UCLA for three years, and prior to that, he lead the Accenture global Electronic Medical Records practice and led the European Health provider's team.
