PharmaDiscovery Conference Announces Daily Sum-Up Sessions

Daily summaries of event topics will turn discussion into action for important drug discoveries

Norwalk, CT (PRWEB) February 13, 2005

PharmaDiscovery, an Elsevier event, announces the introduction of “Sum-Up Sessions” for conference attendees at this new event taking place May 10-12, 2005 at the Washington, D. C. Convention Center. The Sum-Up sessions are designed to integrate conference speaking events into one concise relay of keynote and session conclusions. Summaries of each day’s speaking sessions will be provided in the afternoon of the main conference days.

The Sum-Up sessions will serve as a forum for sharing practical knowledge and insights; and ultimately promote action in drug discovery. Sum-ups will be coordinated by the session chairs on May 11-12 at 5:00 p. m. Conference tracks offered at PharmaDiscovery include discussions on pharmalogical models for human diseases, chemistry-driven drug discovery, breakthrough medicines and more.

“The unique approach of PharmaDiscovery, a conference for scientists, by scientists, offers active participation for audience members through its multitude of intuitive speaking sessions, technical workshops and supporting exhibit hall,” said Charlotte Carey, Content Manager, PharmaDiscovery. “Sum-up sessions will enable attendees to maximize the valuable resources of our conference, further establishing PharmaDiscovery as a premiere knowledge-based forum. This is the first conference to stir debate and discussion in the scientific community and quickly turn that discussion into actionable recommendations and tactics that can be applied immediately to drive impactful and positive changes in drug discovery.”
