Please join us at Hunter Mountain on Friday, June 11th and/or Saturday, June 12th for a behind-the-scenes Press tour and preview of the longest and highest Zipline Canopy Tour in North America. New York Zipline Adventure Tours (NYZAT) has teamed up with Hunter Mountain Ski Resort to build their largest canopy tour to date. This world class, year round facility is located just 2 hours from NY City in the Catskills, providing easy access for everyone in the NY/Tri-State area to experience this thrilling and unique adventure. The First two phases of this project will open to the public on Wednesday, June 9th, following a Hunter Mountain season pass-holder special preview Memorial Day Weekend and the Mountain Jam festival June 4-6th. The third and final phase will open later in the summer.
NYZAT will have two separate Zipline tours and the Adventure Tower challenge tour for all ages, ability levels and courage. The three courses will total nearly 5 miles of ziplines (some nearly 600’ off the forest floor and over 3,000’ long each) along with sky bridges, platforms and additional challenge elements at the Adventure Tower. Guests will be accompanied on tours of up to 2.5 hours by professionally trained guides. The facilities will operate year-round, utilizing Hunter’s chairlifts, terrain and base lodge. One of the pioneers in this business, Bradd Morse who has built Zipline tours around the world, is a partner in NYZAT and will be available at Press Day for your inquiries.

The schedule for the special Press Days on June 11th and 12th is as follows:
Arrival: 12:00 Noon
Welcome Reception (light Lunch/beverages): 12:00-1:00pm
Tour of facilities and Ziplines: 1:00 – 3:00pm
Departure: 3:00pm (overnight lodging may be available)
