Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) November 10, 2005

Fletcher-Flora Health Care Systems, Inc. (OTC PINK: FFLH) announced today they have signed a Master Alliance and Licensing Agreement with Skeva Technologies, Inc. which establishes a preferred relationship and grants Fletcher-Flora exclusive rights to use and market Skeva’s Web-based outreach software in the LIS marketplace. In addition, Fletcher-Flora has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to purchase the Skeva software and Intellectual property.

The newly acquired software capabilities will perfectly complement Fletcher-Flora’s encaLaber, a leading-edge, Web-based laboratory information system (LIS) which serves mid-to-large sized hospitals and reference laboratories, as well as its LabPak product line which is a leader in the physician office laboratory market.

The combined capabilities of encaLaber and the new Web-based outreach software will allow Fletcher-Flora’s clients to maximize their investment in equipment, information systems and people to produce additional revenues from beyond their hospital doors. This new solution is 100 percent Web-based and is HIPAA compliant. It provides a baseline electronic health record (EHR) for storing results and has interoperability with practice management systems.

“The addition of this new software package to encaLaber brings Fletcher-Flora the opportunity to better serve our client base by providing them with complete outreach capabilities that are totally integrated with our LIS,” explained Neal Flora, President and CEO of Fletcher-Flora Healthcare Systems. “We see a great opportunity to scale these capabilities down to meet the needs of our physician office-sized customers and up to serve the needs of large hospitals, reference labs and IDNs.”

“The Skeva -- Fletcher-Flora partnership will allow us to work together to explore the expanding role of laboratory outreach solutions in both the non-hospital and hospital markets. With Fletcher-Flora’s solid customer base and strong leadership, the makings of a great alliance are in place,” said Joe Rosario, President and CEO of Skeva Technologies, Inc.

The encaLaber and LabPak LIS are robust systems built on more than thirty years of experience in the physician, clinical reference and hospital laboratory markets. The basic systems include key modules for the laboratory including patient admission and demographics, order entry, specimen handling, patient inquiry, quality control, microbiology, instrument and third-party interface monitoring in real-time, multiple means of data entry, comprehensive management, patient reporting and powerful administrative tools.

EncaLaber is built to work on both Linux and Microsoft operating systems and support a selection of database engines including Unify, Microsoft MS SQL and Oracle. Its thin client design supports a more scalable, portable and accessible application with a Web-based reporting and ordering system that can either be used as part of the total LIS system or as a stand-alone accessory to any other LIS.

Each encaLaber customer has the ability to set up interpretive reporting, reflexive ordering and calculations and print advanced beneficiary notification for Medicare patients. All Fletcher-Flora products comply with COLA, CLIA and HIPAA requirements. encaLaber also lends itself well to wireless environments, which can bring real-time clinical results to physicians’ fingertips in almost any clinical environment.
