Dawn Career Institute Names Michael Tucker Chief Financial Officer

Dawn Career Institute is pleased to announce that Michael Tucker joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer.
Tapping more than 30 years’ experience in financial and business management, Tucker is responsible for leading the school’s Accounting and Financial Aid departments. His position among the executive management team also involves ensuring the company’s mission to ”cultivate an environment that enables individuals to thrive in pursuit of fulfilling personal, professional and academic goals” is fulfilled. With this objective in mind, Tucker’s role is to see that team members are empowered with the tools and authority to consistently meet the needs of each of the school’s students.
Since graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Tucker’s accounting experience includes numerous accounting positions within the flooring industry such as senior-level controller and, most recently, chief operating officer. This COO experience adds to his financial acumens and allows him to see the challenges facing the organization and provide solutions in alignment with the school’s mission.
