Beth A. Brooks, PhD, RN, CHE, and Senior Partner at JWT Employment Communications, will present Evidence-based Recruitment: Translating Research Into Practice (TRIP) at the Health Care Recruiters Association of Metro Detroit (HCRAMD) seminar on September 28 in Ann Arbor, MI. A chapter of the National Association of Health Care Recruiters (NAHCR), HCRAMD is made up of over 50 members from 32 Detroit-based health care facilities.

Dr. Brooks holds management responsibilities for the integrated offerings to health care employers at JWT Employment Communications, one of the world’s largest recruitment marketing and employment communications companies. Her interactive session will review new management and human resources evidence that can be translated for use in practice by recruiters, employment managers and HR directors.

“Health care professionals have been diligently working to provide patient-focused care which is based on the latest clinical research evidence. Now, managers and human resources professionals are using the latest management and human resources evidence in their practice as well,” according to Dr. Brooks. “The goal of using clinical research evidence is to improve patient outcomes. The goal of using management evidence is to develop employer brands that attract the right candidates that will fit in an organization, streamline the recruitment and hiring process and use evidence to devise programs, policies and procedures to reward, recognize and retain health care workers.”
